2019/20 Moise Kean

Correct, and I think that could be Kean. He can run at defenders, he has good close control and he can pick a pass in tight areas. What he isn't, though, is a target man, hence having DCL there could hopefully draw off defenders.

Just not seeing that at the moment. He looks well short of being that kind of player. Clearly gonna need time to settle, it's a shame that we don't really have time in terms of this season

....currently looking as ineffective as DCL from an attacking threat perspective which is very disappointing. Indeed, it could be argued DCL offers more contribution to the team.

We all got carried away with him coming from Juventus but we should have seen it coming. Success of a season resting on a 19 year olds shoulders is mad.

He will probably improve a lot but it's going to take time. Right now, it doesn't look like he is ready to be starting matches.

It was always going to happen if he didn't start bagging from the off

Not all of us got carried away, some of us knew it would take time for him to settle, I think some are being incredibly harsh on the kid after a handful of games. Incredibly high unrealistic expectations on a 19yr old Italian new to the Premier League. Moise is being hung out to dry here and it'sout of order.

....it’s not so much that for me, i’m more concerned at the lack of signs that we have a real talent.

I get all the points about his age and how the team don’t play to his strengths, but he still gets possession of the ball in an Everton shirt on a football pitch and I want to see him produce something.

I think the general consensus is he's been poor but we shouldn't be surprised. He will get better though, just needs time. Shame that's something we as a team don't have this season.

It's very early days though and he's being asked to lead the line, I doubt he's ever had to play with his back to goal like we are asking and the service our forwards get is terrible. We are incredibly predictable, just double upon Kean as we are going to whack crosses in which isn't his strengths.

I'd never seen him play before but he's not a target man. Patience required, maybe next season even, just let the lad settle in. Either that or we chase him out of dodge and ruin his confidence ala Sandro.

I agree, he doesn't have time and that's a failure on the part of the management team for heaping all this unrealistic pressure on the kid. Maybe DCL isn't as bad as people think, maybe the formation isn't getting the best out of our CFs.

....he’s a striker, I presume he’s been a striker coming through the ranks so back to goal play will be nothing new. Leading the line is brilliant for mobile, technically gifted strikers because you’re always in the game. We all desperately want him to succeed, but my concern is the lack of evidence we have a talent.

I can only go on the fact Juve seen enough in him to give him game time; going from Ronaldo to Gylfi as a strike partner is a bit of a step down. He no longer has an abundance of world class players around him, surely most people would have expected this froma 19 year old Italian, who doesn't even have a full season of top flight football under his belt.

He hasn't been great but neither have the team, I can't lay any blame at this lads door, he gets a lot of leeway on the criticism from me, he's being asked to do too much in my opinion.

I don't buy into the formation being the problem. There's time when you see players doing really good things on the pitch but their impact is limited by the team's structure. Not the case with our forwards. I just think their movement is poor and they aren't great with the ball at their feet.

There's no way you could justify going with two up front considering what we've seen until now.

Simple, your in the team next ten games.’none of this chopping and changing. Review then. He needs a run of games to be judged not being dropped every other game
