Again, youve listed a load of players without even taking into account if they are playing WELL or not.

Throwing new signings who have moved overseaa LAST SUMMER at Keans age into games can be detrimental to them.

Not sure what youre failing to grasp here.

Listing 20 players who mostly arent Keans age + havent moved last summer just seems like a pointless exercise.

Why not just ANSWER THE QUESTION?

How many players are playing WELL having moved overseas at Keans age last summer?

The answer is perhaps one or two well known ones. The rest of them havent performed.

I’ve repeatedly said that performance levels are both temporary and subjective, so we’ll naturally disagree on which players in that list are “playing well”.

Erling Haaland, Victor Osimhen, Joao Felix, De Ligt, Sancho, Guendouzi, Isak, Hakimi, Hagi, Odegaard and N'Dicka have all been playing very well and have been for quite some time. Few would disagree, I’m sure you’re one of them as it suits your argument.

I fail to see how minutes on the pitch could be detrimental for a fit, talented young player eager to play. But there you go, we’ll have to differ on that one.

You`ll never beat @Zatara when it comes to player lists, you do know that don`t you ?

He was making fantasy lists of players, way before FIFA snapped up all the box room virgins.

I think he is being introduced very sensibly.
He is getting a nice bit of exposure to the league and has escaped blame completely from the car crash that has been most of our season so far. The manager has done well in that regard so far.
I think we will see a lot more of him after Christmas.

Player lists? As in, lists of players?

He asked me a question, I answered it. I didn't realise we were supposed to be indiscriminately naming players.

" Kissock passes it to Adu...

Who dinks it to Macheda...

Macheda shoots...

And its 6-0 to Everton"

That commentary right there swirls round Zatara's frontal lobe constantly as he day dreams of his Everton under 19 all stars winning the Champions League on FM 09

Honestly, im really not sure it takes any intelligence to "name players of Keans age who moved last summer who are playing well".

Ive asked 3 times now and just get unrelated responses and weird lists of players...

I mean lets look at this list...even a simpleton would surely know that Sancho didnt move to dortmund last summer and neither did Guendouzi.

But, hey presto theyre on a list lol

It just proves my point about why hes being eased in and not starting every single game.

I mean De Ligt is on the list so fits what i requested for timeframe and yet its well documented that hes not been performing.

Really dont understand why people want untested (in this league) 19 year olds to start every single game...then cant respond logically to questions about why :o

Mate odegaard took 3 years being loaned out to multiple clubs being called a flop before he started to hit a bit of form

It doesn’t matter whether they are playing well, to evidence my point (which relates exclusively to game time and not performance), does it?

It only matters that they are playing and getting regular minutes, as those players are.

I had them all Kallstrom Samba etc way before gaming scout reports. I know what I'm talking about...
Just go here...

... have a l'il mooch, click on previous years and do a wee bit of research, pick a couple of random names and lash them out there. Easy this scouting youth malarkey.

Erm thats my point

You want players to get games when they clearly arent ready in the eyes of management.

Yet cant give any names of players at the same age as Kean who are getting games and playing well.

Makes no sense at all.

Which brings me back to my original, question, why?

Why, when we’re clearly struggling up top, is management not giving him the opportunities he desperately needs? The opportunities he literally came here for over all of the other offers he had from Europes eite.

The best young players, aged 19 and under, across Europe are getting regular game time. Kean is in that bracket yet doesn’t get the minutes.

Just puzzling, unless Silva is seeing something in training that we’re not, which ultimately would (as you said) make him not ready to be put in.

There is nothing. He was ready quality wise the day he signed. If he could play in Serie A he can play here. The only possible excuse is that he's still not 100% good with our tactics. He's not some developmental teenager, he's already plenty good enough to play.

The change of league will be the biggest reason for me, look how ‘proven’ the likes of Sandro, Klaasen and Tosun was in their respective leagues. All bombed out, now even if Kean is better than them he will still need the time to get used to the speed, physicality and even living in a new country etc.

I thought he would have had more minutes, but they are either making a concentrated effort to bring him slowly or he’s not showing enough in training.
I expected him to play in the Carabao cup like most fringe players do but I think the manager has decided it’s too important to even give him the minutes in that.
