Silva getting the blame for Moise Kean having a tragic first half and getting hooked as a result?
This exactly. It wasn't working. He changed it at half time. Good management really, we've all been crying out for him to be more proactive.
A performance as a result of being stuck on the wing when he's a striker.Silva getting the blame for Moise Kean having a tragic first half and getting hooked as a result?

Has to play up top. He isnt a winger.. he isnt a mid.. simple. Pair him up top with DCL and have richy and iwobi playing a CAM/Winger role. He was put in the lineup from the start to fail with that position
The mistake wasn't bringing him off, it was putting him out wide in the first place. Has he ever played on the right of midfield before? It's hard enough to adjust to a new league as a foreign teenager without being shunted out of position.
Was a good opportunity to have him playing up front today as Watford's centre backs are bang average.
The problem is I don't think playing him through the middle would've made it any better. Sometimes you can see when a player is struggling due to their position because you see glimpses of their talent. Kean has shown very little so far.
Right now, I don't think we're sitting on a striker who is going to take the league by storm over the next month if we play him 4 games on the bounce.
