We're a much more appealing proposition than probably 80% of the teams in the CL tbf.
Granted none of the remaining 20% appeared to go in for him but many are fairly well stocked in that position.
Lad will 100% come good, he's quality.

Crazy isn't it. Any footballing person would have had a good idea that a 19 year old wasn't going to score a prolific amount of goals. He was playing alongside world class players at Juve in a team that strolls the league. Why anyone expected him to come to us and start banging them in up front on his own is beyond me.

I'm amazed you're so keen on Digne, Dave...he a bit similar to Baines...good going forward but not a good defender. Name a few more in our range, say up to 80 million, in world football.

Gbamin (injured), Kean (Silva killing him), Gomes (in hospital), Mina (starting to think he is the real deal), and Digne is a very average defender so you're so the above is not very accurate.
Compare to what we bought before; Sigurdson, Schneiderlin, Pickford (yes Pickford), Tosun, Niasse, Keane...so you see, not very clever from you.
