As i have said before.

Those of you making your mind up about Kean despite hardly being played by silva are the same ones calling for silva to be sacked right now.

I just dont get the thought process, the manager you dont want isnt selecting a player but he must still be terrible based off that?

There’s a saying about stopped clocks still being right that’s very apt.

Same as vlasic? Same as lookman?

There is a trend that sacked managers aren't playing promising young players as much as other clubs due, in part, to them trying to keep their job here.

Is it not a little odd that the same young players that get frozen out of the first team are being done so by managers who have an average managerial life at the club of 18 months?

for me, i dont believe that the promising young players desperate to get away from everton are at fault, nor are they fairly used within the squad. However the struggling managers who stick to experienced players to get them through rough spells, well their judgement must be fantastic to end up out of work before long here.

Yes. They were all/are turbogash. Literally everyone mentioned in the post. Players, managers, fans, the linear passage of time. Everything.

Wow. I have to say that is very unprofessional regardless of how much we want Silva gone. He isn’t the first player to do this though and he certainly won’t be the last. Silva needs to be sacked before this gets any worse.

Kean liking that post isn't wise and isn't professional. It's unprofessional from Lacazette too but Lacazette is a top striker, integral to the team already. Kean is yet to prove himself in that regard and needs to behave as such, knuckle down and do your talking on the pitch.

Kean is a player who, in the few short months he's been here, has rocked up late to training numerous times, so much so that the club has had to publicly fine and drop him. It must've been bad enough to do that because clubs loathe to make things like that public, especially with big new signings. The sad thing is, this isn't behaviour out of the ordinary for him as he's done it several times for the national side too.

Let's break this myth that he's only ever been in unfamiliar positions. He's played through the middle and he's played wide for us. Both positions he's played at club level and internationally before Everton. He has had minutes under Silva, he has started under Silva and at no time has he shone. He was hooked in the Watford game after a pretty dire showing where he was hardly busting a gut. There's been no indication that we've signed one of the brightest talents in europe. No reason to warrant further starts. He's clearly not doing enough in training to warrant further starts either. I could accept all that if he wasn't behaving like a pleb, because it's still early days in his career.

The only reason fans are wanting to start him is because he's something of an unknown, unspoiled quantity. But, as of now, I don't think anybody believes he's half the player we thought he was when he signed. It's naive to lay the blame for that squarely at Silva's door.
