Some dozy kid who's underlined how over-rated and arrogant he is getting an easy ride.

Not from me he wont.

Kean liking that post isn't wise and isn't professional. It's unprofessional from Lacazette too but Lacazette is a top striker, integral to the team already. Kean is yet to prove himself in that regard and needs to behave as such, knuckle down and do your talking on the pitch.

Kean is a player who, in the few short months he's been here, has rocked up late to training numerous times, so much so that the club has had to publicly fine and drop him. It must've been bad enough to do that because clubs loathe to make things like that public, especially with big new signings. The sad thing is, this isn't behaviour out of the ordinary for him as he's done it several times for the national side too.

Let's break this myth that he's only ever been in unfamiliar positions. He's played through the middle and he's played wide for us. Both positions he's played at club level and internationally before Everton. He has had minutes under Silva, he has started under Silva and at no time has he shone. He was hooked in the Watford game after a pretty dire showing where he was hardly busting a gut. There's been no indication that we've signed one of the brightest talents in europe. No reason to warrant further starts. He's clearly not doing enough in training to warrant further starts either. I could accept all that if he wasn't behaving like a pleb, because it's still early days in his career.

The only reason fans are wanting to start him is because he's something of an unknown, unspoiled quantity. But, as of now, I don't think anybody believes he's half the player we thought he was when he signed. It's naive to lay the blame for that squarely at Silva's door.
He's 19, in a new league mate. It takes players time to adapt. Look at Mina. Yes he hasn't shown much but he hasn't had enough games to judge for me, coming into a struggling team doesn't help either. He has more upside than starting bleeding Cenk Tosun.

Can’t believe that a player that is never played hasn’t put us into contention for the top 4. What an absolute joke of an overrated lazy Italian. Get him gone!!!

Yes, it does take players time to adapt. I 100% agree and that's why nobody is expecting him to bag loads and set the world alight. These militant Kean supporters like to conflate the argument by insisting anyone criticising Kean clearly has too lofty expectations - it's simply not the case. As fans, all we want to see is a bit of energy, even if it doesn't result in a goal.

There are fundamentals we should expect of Football players whether you're in a new league or not, whether you're 17 or 37. Turning up on time and working hard are two of them. And that's where the issues with Kean start. His performances haven't been very good, his effort hasn't been particularly high and his attitude in response to being out of the team, hasn't been to knuckle down and prove his critics wrong, he's sulked and took to social media to complain. It doesn't bode well. He got a start in the cup against Watford and did absolutely nothing to merit it, he was rightly hooked at half-time and the game turned in our favour.

If you don't have discipline when managing a team, and you reward players who break the rules and punish those who follow the rules, you lose all respect from your team. That's why Tosun and DCL get the game time and this kid doesn't. It's nothing to do with raw Football ability, which Kean may well have more of than the two just mentioned - but unless he recognises that it's a team game, he'll never get the opportunities to thrive. He'll be another Balotelli, a waste.

Give him a run in a decent side without any absolute wasteman of a team supplying crab like passes and this lad will be a lot happier. I can just see the stories now of how he will improve once that leather cap wearing bellend leaves.

You would like to think that whoever comes in next will immediately give him much more game time.
