2019/20 Moise Kean

He is our best option up top Wednesday with Iwobi in the ten role with Bernard and richarlison on left and right
Maybe a case of having too. However, the worry would be exposing him in a run in the first team when they are in my opinion, still preparing him for rigours of English football, prime injury time scenario. He is a valuable asset and there will be merry hell with this ones entourage if we are seen to flog him into an injury...

but how can you prepare someone for the rigours of English football by not playing him?

ay moise get ready for this hard league by watching from the bench lad

he needs a run of 10 games, DCL and Tosun have similar runs at everton and have both showed they aren't good enough to lead the line

Kean might not be either, but without giving him a good fair run we won't know

You shouldn't require motivation to get to team meetings on time and follow a basic set of rules, mate.

It's about respect for your manager and your teammates. If you're not doing that, you shouldn't play - even if you're incredibly talented (in my humble opinion).

Messi and Ronaldo, throughout their careers, have consistently been leaders, being the hardest workers on and off the pitch, and followed the rules of the rest of the team. They've rarely been the primadonna's they perhaps could have been and that's why they're so great. They know that talent alone, isn't enough.

Take note, Moise.

Complete and utter nonsense. First of all.Ronaldo was not 'a good boy' when he was at United, and there were major incidents thoughout his career including a paternity case. Have you never heard of man management ? A couple of minor incidents of lateness and you want to crucify the boy, Silva handles that situation at least, in the correct way. You sound like a Victorian headmaster, doling out punishment as if you got pleasure from it.

You put ‘good boy’ in quotations, as though I said it. I did not say Ronaldo was a good boy at any point.

In response to your question, yes I have heard of man management. I’ve got over 30 direct reports in my role and I expect each one of them to turn up on time to internal meetings, client meetings and to follow the same rules everyone else has to - it’s hardly a strict regime.

It’s not “a couple of minor incidents of lateness”. If you believe so then you’re obviously incredibly naive. Do you reckon any club would drop a player and make a public example of them over him being 5 or 10 minutes late once or twice?

He has behaved this way before Everton and he’s carried it on here. He needs to understand that actions have consequences. I don’t want to crucify anyone. All I said was that if someone repeatedly breaks rules, there has to be a consequence, wouldn’t you agree? That’s not strict in any way, it’s good practice in any line of work.

If you reward players that don’t follow the rules, then there is no point whatsoever in having rules and anarchy ensues.

Dropping him from the team is a lesson, one that hopefully he learns from. No more needs to be said on the matter. If he follows the rules and works hard, he’s got a great chance of realising that potential he obviously has - if he doesn’t then he won’t. Very simple.

A paternity case is an out of work issue, as long as it doesn't stop him from doing his job it's not a problem. Turning up late to training/meetings is a work issue, it has to be treated differently.

I'm not having a go at Kean there, as far as i'm concerned that matter is closed, but you can't make that sort of false equivalence to back up your point.

I think he may be at his best playing with another striker or just behind one. I could see him doing well with DCL.

He´d be at his best playing with quality players. Having DCL on the pitch with him would just be a waste of time. DCL´s movement is dreadful, his creativity is nonexistent and usually he´s anonymous.

Literally think

Lob him in the Derby, nothing to lose. DCL not good enough, Cenk too slow to start. Just lob him in, unknown quantity

Never gonna happen though, they know DCL can be an out ball with his pace, especially with the pressure we will probably be under. He would definitely be better than Kean from that perspective, but that just shows you aren’t even trying to win the game.

I agree I’d rather play Kean myself and go for a win, than just play for a draw and get smashed everywhere.
