I think what you are saying is fair.On just that 15 minutes alone, he should start more games. Yes, 100%. That's the 1st time in his Everton career that he's come on and looked....'lively' is probably the appropriate description. It was a positive. However, you just know that there will be countless acts of revisionism of this cameo appearance in the coming weeks and months if we don't see more of them - "remember when Kean came on and tore Leicester to shreds, I can't believe Marco didn't give him more game time' etc.
I totally agree, he was better than DCL (though that's not exactly high praise). However, the way any manager bases his decisions isn't based just on a 15 minutes cameo is it? It's how you conduct yourself in training too, which is the only reason Kean hasn't had more game time up to now - it's his fault and nobody else's.
He now needs to do this stuff regularly and do it when the fans aren't watching too. If he does, he'll definitely get some game time, Silva is desperate for some energy and inspiration up top.
I don't have an agenda. I just disagree with people suggesting that Kean is getting a raw deal when he's patently bringing it on himself.
You reckon he was late only twice? You think that the club would drop and make a public example of a young player, a star signing - over him being late just twice?
Good to see you agree that he deserved his punishment though, so you agree that if Kean was misbehaving it was right that he wasn't in the team?
Good, glad we found some common ground there.
You're literally the one who brought him up in the Reinier Jesus thread more than 2 weeks later lol

Some people wanted him in the team when he clearly wasn't ready.
Last Sunday was the first time really that I thought he looked like he belonged , but he has still plenty to do to show he should start every week.
When he arrived first I said that it could be after Christmas before we could see him play regularly and I still think that is so.
Kean and richarlison up top with Iwobi behind would be very interesting

Have a go at our wonderkid.
I mean how often do you want him punished for the same offense ?
And your telling everyone it is more than twice he's offended at Everton, have you proof of this ? Or are you just surmising that he's done something else wrong ?
He’s not a wonder kid, he’s a very naughty boy!No, I don't have proof that he has been late more than twice. But all I will say is that, with the greatest of respect, if anyone thinks he's only been late once while he's been here (and that was sufficient for the club to make a public example of him) they're an absolute moron.
I don't want Moise Kean punished at all. Quite the contrary, I want him in the starting line up. However (and this is the important bit), I recognise that the reason he hasn't been in the starting line up is because of his own poor behaviour, bad attitude and substandard performances on the pitch. If he improves his performances in training and he falls in line, then it's inevitable he will get more minutes on the pitch.
I'm surmising that Marco Silva, a manager in desperate need of a striker, with a wonderkid at his disposal, is either sabotaging himself or the kid is not doing what he's supposed to. As he was dropped by the club for behavioural issues and, in the past, he's been dropped by other managers for similar behavioural issues, I'd guess it's more likely to be the latter, wouldn't you?
He had a good cameo on Sunday. I wouldn't go as far as saying it was impressive, but it was energetic and it provided hope and a spark at a time we desperately needed it. That's a start and it's positive. He needs to build on that. It doesn't negate everything that's happened so far and it's not another stick with which to beat Silva over the head with, to suggest he should have been playing the kid all along.
He will start and get sent off tonight.
Have no idea what quote you mean, but last night I replied to one of your posts in the Reinier thread, because you for some reason decided again to have a go at our wonderkid.

Anyone know Ross Barkleys mobile number ?Almost all articles which stated that Kean was dropped from the squad, stated that he was late for a 2nd time. Nowhere have I seen it was stated that he was late more than twice. Being late is actually a common thing and therefore other teams usually have a hefty fine for that. I think Chelsea fines £500 per minute late for a Team Meeting and go as far as fining £20,000 if late for Training. Fines like that would not exist if its a rarity for player being late but rather to get the players in line. Maybe we should implement something similar (if we dont have something like that in place) instead of dropping players and getting negative publicity etc.
I actually found a link to the Chelsea fines for this season.

Kean and richarlison both have that ability the play as inverted wingers so the two up top would be a real handful for the centre backs and would allow Iwobi to drive forwards. Honestly I think because of Bernards work rate he wouldn't even be bad in midfield, verrati is like 5ft 5 so is kante, he could be a real nuisance.----------Kean-------Richie
------------------Iwobi
----------Davies-----Gomes
--------------Gblammo
Digne----Holgate---Mina----Sidibe
That's actually a pretty decent team on paper. No room for Bernard in the side though. Don't think he'd be capable of playing midfield. Maybe he could be effective in behind Kean & Richarlison. Or, a novel thought, we could play an asymmetrical formation with Bernard out wide left.
Yes, being late happens. If you're a few minutes late a couple of times. Most people will say 'no big deal'.
If you believe that is the context in which Moise Kean was dropped, that's up to you. But it just doesn't stack up for me.
The club would have to be desperate for the lad to fail. As an asset, that makes no sense. Or Silva would have to be literally sabotaging himself.
Again, in either case, it doesn't make sense. The lad has got previous for this exact stuff, so it wouldn't exactly be a shock to suggest he's behaving this way here too.
