Poor man management.
I remember people saying Alex Ferguson shouted at everyone apart from cantona, he took it easy on him, his reason "if I don't look after him who will".

Man management is key especially these days. That's the difference between good managers and great managers.
At this moment in time we need every player putting their body on line and if he doesn't want to,he knows where the door is.

In about the 80’ +\- I had made a comment to my lady friend here

“Why is a Kean sucking wind here? He has only been on for like 10 min.”

minutes later yanked off.

tomato, potato on yanking him off.

I think not addressing him as he walked off was a mistake.

a point to be made I’m ok with.

embarrassing him in front of millions, I just don’t know.

He was loafing and was clearly winded

Saw him blowing from a corner as well, didn't really get it personally. Was probably told to run about like mad for 20 minutes and didn't...

Honestly as good as Dunc has been this is why I can’t have him as the permanent manager. Look Kean played poorly when he came on but he absolutely didn’t deserve to come back off. Dunc knows how to motivate players who need a kick up the arse, Kean clearly has no confidence and needs an arm round him not to be embarrassed in front of 75,000 people and millions watching around the world.

I’m sorry to say but he’s not the permanent manager, he shouldn’t be doing this to a player that realistically he’s not gonna have to manage for much longer. Look Kean wasn’t going to cost us a goal with so little time left and Niasse wasn’t coming on and scoring, arguably he’d give the ball away just as much or more. Disgraceful man management from Dunc. Unfortunately we seem to be doing everything to make sure Kean fails at the club and will want out in January regardless of who comes in as the manager.

If Silva had put Kean on and hauled him off humiliating him like that, we’d all be fuming. He really didn’t do anything to warrant that, he was playing ok if anything.

People moan about players being slackers, the manager has just a laid a gauntlet down

this is what I expect, don’t do it then off you go. You need to be ruthless, every other top manager would do it

you do not pander to players

Fair enough, but he's the caretaker manager. Mightn't be here next week and could have alienated one or two players a few days before the biggest game of our season. Think it's really poor of him tbh.

The sub was strange but if he's not understanding/ following instructions then you can excuse it.

Ignoring him as he walks off the pitch just shows a lack of understanding in how to man manage. Disappointed because Ferguson hasn't put a foot wrong otherwise.
yeah thought he would a have a few words with him, making him understand his decision (very briefly ofc)
