2019/20 Moise Kean

We're a below average PL team. We have absolutely no right to turn up to any game in this league with anything other than our strongest team out and expect to win. If Ancelotti thinks Kean is our best option tonight then great, if he doesn't then he shouldn't play, it's really that simple.
I think we are an underperforming Premiership team more than a below average team.
Individually there is a lot of talent in the team, there are probably half a dozen players that are good enough to play for the top teams even now or certainly in the near future, but the performances as a team have been underwhelming.
However, with a few exceptions our results have improved a lot under the new manager, we certainly had a problem in that department before.

But who is actually saying that? I've just gone back half a dozen pages and there's all these posts below from people talking about people wanting to sell him, and a grand total of zero posts from people actually wanting to sell him. It seems to be a bit of a made up argument.

Posts from the last 6 or 7 pages.

I would definitely look to do a swap deal - Kean + a few quid for Belotti would do me.

Alternatively you have Schick at Roma - only 24 and has 9 goals in 22 for the national team and netted 10 in 20 or so games on loan at Leipzig.
Start him against Norwich and if he doesn't play or doesn't score, sell him.
Get rid somehow!
Excuses excuses excuses.
Lets just cut the crap. He's been a complete waste of time so far and i havent actualy seen anything that says he's worth the effort. He's not pushing anyone hard to make the manager start him clearly either so we can cut the he's not getting time on the pitch. Theres a reason why not.
I hope he comes good. But as of now he's been a waste of time.

Love how hard people are trying to pretend they aren’t disappointed in him this season.

It is what it is mate, this club has been so turbulent the last few years I wonder how any of us expect a young player to thrive. Besides, at least since Silva got the boot he's mainly been kept out of the side by Richarlison and DCL who have both had 2 years PL experience over him.

99.9% sure @Billy Dean is joking. Bottom one doesn't mention selling him. Middle one wasn't in the half dozen pages I mentioned. So one person said sell him. Hardly worth making a big fuss over is it? People say the same in everyone's threads.

I think people are responding to the criticism of him regardless of whether or not they advocate selling him.
People - like myself - think that the criticism of Kean is a bit harsh given his circumstances.

We're 12th in the league, closer to bottom 3 than top 4. We've been 8th for the previous 2 seasons. We are, at best, an average team slightly underperforming. Either way, there is no evidence at all to suggest that we can expect to beat other PL teams when not at our best. We lost at home to Norwich, and have lost away to both the other teams in the relegation zone, we really have no right to think we can just turn up and roll teams over with our reserves.

I'm not disappointed, I think we have time on our side with him and it can't be helped when DCL turns on the gears to smash in 13-14 goals to be our starter.
