Having doubts is ok but I don't get why people are so quick to write him off. He played sporadically in an awful team that created very little. When Calvert Lewin was getting the minutes but not scoring, people were saying give him more time.

We're a weird fanbase sometimes... Loved straq, didn't complain when saha was a regular starter and went 12 months without a goal, but pan this lad at every opportunity.

DCL cost about 1.5 mill. This guy we bought from juve for 25 and has a huge reputation. Completely different circumstances. That’s why there’s a different expectation and therefore criticism. After the Walsh era, throwing 25 mill on a player who can’t get a game is slightly concerning

I see your angle but it would do the lad a world of good to be the guy responsible for the win rather than babysitting an already comfortable position.

We’d be crazy to start the same team as Sunday today. Although our fitness levels were good, after a long lay off, I’d be surprised if we started the same team today. If we do, I’m sure we’ll pick up injuries.

I would guess that he could move Iwobi across and bring Kean in on the right side.

Richarlison is actually very good imo, so I don't think that's happening here. DCL is at least as good as Abraham who is both playing in the CL now and has his team positioned to be next year (not on his own obviously) so he's in the ballpark too. It is tough on Kean.
