2019/20 Moise Kean

Josh King scored 6 in 26 last season. His career high is 16 in 16/17, he's only been in double figures twice and he is 28. I don't think he is as good as what we have already.

I wouldn't look too much into last season mate Bournemouth as a whole looked like they threw in the towel half way through the season.

Not saying I want him but the links in the press wont go away and the reality is Tosun is crap, Kean isn't ready and DCL outside of a 3 month patch has been wildly inconsistent infront of goal over the past 3 years at the club - a bad injury to Richarlison and for me we will struggle big time up top unless Kean magically transforms into Mason Greenwood overnight.

Its why I think the stories of Kean out on loan are not that far fetched if the club brings in another CF - it essentially gives him time to play week in week out for a season and develop then hopefully he returns next summer a better player.

The alternative is if he does go out that he messes around, is late for training, doesn't kick on and we know we have to sell.

I haven't seen much of him because he hasn't played much. Looks a powerful pacey lad. But if he was impressing Carlo in training he would be starting over DCL. In the games I have seen him.play he hasn't really impressed me. I go with the he's only young shouts and would like to see him get a run of games. But i think his lack.of games means Carlo isn't impressed or dosnt really trust him.
I'd rather we cash in then use the money on Sarr or another striker. But it's all up to how Carlo rates the lad.

I don’t see Kean leaving this window, if he’s still struggling come January I think we’ll see him loaned out. Loaning him out for two seasons doesn’t make any sense.

what about the player?? What about what he needs?

Talks of a loan or even a loan exchange.

if we are not going to play him, we need to see what we can get back that could help our squad.
He needs to get his head down for the club who pays his wages mate. Nobody knows if he'll be played but the noises are Ancelotti rates him. I would like to see him being given a chance. If we are going after the big name midfielder, does that leave us with a lot of room for a decent replacement? All ifs and buts, I want to see him in an Everton shirt that's all.

Being reported that Juve want him and will only pay £14 million. So thats him staying with us

Unless we do some dodgy FFP deal with them - like a 2 yr loan for Kean and we get one of their players for 2 years then both sign on the cheap after the loans respectively expire.

Italian teams love dodgy deals.

Cant sell him, not for me.

Imagine leaving your family at 19, moving to a. Foreign country where they don’t speak the language and being given a load of money to be “sensible” with.

The league is faster, he’s been starved of game time while he adjusts and I think given better service (i.e, no Sigurdsson, Davies, Gomes, Iwobi supplying the crosses), he’s got a good chance of making it for me.

He was never good enough for the PL.

Him and Klaassen are the two most obvious examples of a poor fit for a footballer and a league. It looks like Ancelotti has accepted that too...a manager who knows all about the player in Kean's case.

You really do have to wonder what goes on in the heads of those responsible for signing them.

A ridiculous move for a poor player. Thank goodness it looks like we're drawing a line under this stupid perseverance.

Honestly wouldn’t turn down getting our money back. Two decent games in the shirt. Shown very very little across a season as well. Don’t understand where people think he has this natural talent.

Not actively pushing to sell him though. He is young so can develop but can’t see it myself. The money back would allow us to move elsewhere

You seemed convinced he’d help frighten PL defences when he signed so nice use of hindsight.

That's right. It was after seeing his first outing when he was direct and had a pop at goal on sight. It was impressive. I subsequently stated I was wrong to hold that view based on such small amount of evidence. There's nothing to see here.

Well surely if you thought he was "never good enough for the PL" and a "poor fit" then surely you couldn't have ever imagined him "frightening" PL defences?

Just admit you backtracked.

Bit unfair to judge him on last season in my opinion, it was a hard season for everyone and the team were cack, add to that he needed time to settle. Think we should persevere for another season prsonally.
