2019/20 Moise Kean

The lad came a foreign country at 19 years old. He's only 20. Can't believe some people on here want rid. But then, it is the internet and football and when you mix both, you get a lot of BS.
It's not the people on here agreeing to get shut of him, it's his manager.

I'm hoping Kean is similar to the Adama Traore situation. The kid went from Barca to Villa to Boro. Had terrifying pace and strength but was so, so raw. Always picked the wrong final ball or tried to do the same thing everytime at Boro, positional sense was atrocious. Pulis always swapped him to the other wing at half time, purely to keep him close to the dugout side as he constantly had to tell him where to stand, where to run etc.

With coaching, perseverance and maturity on his part, he's gone on to significantly improve and become a sought after asset.

For me, it's much too early to write Kean off. The only factor in that should be if Kean wants to leave... Even that for me, would be better on loan, for now.

Traore was given the luxury of playing consistently at Middlesbrough.

If we had the funds to bring in a new striker I’d be happy for us to send Kean out on loan to a Championship club, to help his development.

At his age while he’s learning he needs to be playing consistently, couple of late appearances at the end of games won’t help his development at all.

Would love to see how he’d get on at a Championship club for a season. It’d do his development and confidence the world of good.

If he goes loan or sale we would then need another striker buy or loan. cant see an upgrade without paying more money & there are much larger priorities.
Need to give him a chance when we have a midfield that provides some service.
I think he will be great but I thought the same about Lookman so I am no judge.

A player who has promised so much but not delivered as expected. Clearly a very good player, you don't end up at Juve and a hot prospect across Europe not being that, but he's not performed as expected for Everton. It may be that he hasn't adapted to the league or his attitude isn't right but I don't think he's the player we hoped for....

Unless that's wrong and he goes on to have a great career with us - then great as Everton have done well and anyone drawing attention to my doubts can be easily dismissed as not important or focusing on negativity.

If it's the former and I'm proved 'right' on that I'll double down hard on it to demonstrate just how 'right' I am.

That seems to be how this works I think.

Interesting but about Pulis there. He got dogs abuse for not rating Gnabry during his WBA spell.

Being reported that Juve want him and will only pay £14 million. So thats him staying with us

ha, another thing is, he left there because he wanted to play, he didn't want to sign a new contract, one year wouldn't have changed that. He possibly might want to leave us if he hasn't enjoyed it, but he won't go back there this soon, surely.
