That may well be the case, but it still doesn’t prove Everton should have kept him. You can’t keep players on the books paying their wages for years until they become good enough.
True

Spoke with my mate who's big Juventus fan.

Apparently Kean begged (and nearly cried) Raiola to take him back to Italy in October last year. Pirlo wants a young compliment to their number 9 and Juventus need a homegrown player to fill the CL quota.

Still think that's the media putting all the pieces together, as this 2 year loan thing is a nonsense from our perspective, but there could be some truth in it.

There's no benefit for us if this happens, We'd be down a striker plus we don't have that much money to spend.
It's probably jarg anyway, He's 100% getting more games this year anyway.

Speaks volumes that he can still make the Italy squad despite a tough/poor season.

Glimpses of ability in his cameos and the couple of starts (Newcastle in particular was one of our best performances until Everton happened with 2 mins to go).

He’ll get plenty of game time next season and if we sign the players we’re linked to, he’ll be a different player.

Selling him/loaning him out would be a massive mistake IMO.

A bit short sighted then, you gave up on him too early the lad is a good player. You think every player should just get 1 season if its not a good one bomb them out ?
Not sure we gave up on him. Think he was an easily saleable asset after the madness of the first Koeman/Walsh summer.
