I'd accept that mate, given the depleting aspect of an unhappy player, but i think that it is an assumption at this stage. The player said he is doubling down in effort ahead of the new season, coach say hes a player he admires has wanted in the past and will get more opportunity this year. He has a good Italian coaching structure ahd management around him here, that i think is helpful, he will be playing with a better more creative squad, with the hardest year of adjustment under his belt.

But say he rattling away for a move in the background and i dont think that is the case, we should just hold or definitely look to make a profit, a significant one to. I would be looking at 35-40 mill GBP, myself.

He has to be given minutes and starts from now on, otherwise we have to consider moving him on from January onwards.

He needs to use his frame and be more direct, that is in large part related to confidence. He won't get anywhere with 5 minute cameos. There is a raw explosiveness in him that we have not seen, but it's there and can be utilised.

I'm not really sure what to make of him but it would be criminal if he left without at least one real crack at showing us if there is a player there or not.

I'd see his upside as being better than DCL's if an upside is there at all, and would actually be inclined to start him against Spurs and not see DCL as an automatic starter. That would be good for both Kean and DCL.

I think thats it. And he can play with DCL too if Richarlinson is moved wide, or we play we a 3 up top. He won't be here from January if he's just given cameos. He will not put up with a 2nd year of that.

I use the comparison of Lukaku, at ties we juust had to put him in and let him play through the difficulties he had. In a lot of ways it's what you have to do with young strikers.

If we let him go we will only want to buy another striker, so I'd like to see him get some game time. If he gets opportunities and is struggling still, then January may be a good time to loan him out and review at the end of the season.

For us hes gift, hes on one of the lowest wages in the squad, in my opinion will only appreciate, heading into the Euros next summer and more international exposure, a year of development behind him, working here with Carlo and and Italian Coaching structure, while hes clearly class in my opinion.

Zero motivation for us to sell him in my opinion. If we ever had to id be putting a massive premium on him and making a worth our while profit.

He did but must say the deal we got for him nigh on 100 mil ( Rooney included )
was very good at the time , pity we squandered the profits on crap players.

Very true mate, i think our relationship with him works on that premise. We are a good club, to place a player, develop them, give them exposure in a good league, price increases and then at a certain time you prompt the move when the value has reached an appex, maybe it works for us to given we turned 28 mill into 100 mill.

Maybe the above plays out in the Moise situation.
