I imagine judging by how he looked when he played (Miserable), when he scored (miserable) he just didn’t want to be here.
The club probably didn’t want his negative attitude around the dressing room and the best outcome was to send him out on loan.

he’s scoring and playing for a team that’s loaded. The outcome may be good for us. If they want him we will get a good fee. If they don’t we get him back after a good season and he can realise he’s probably best working hard with us as he can show what he can do after a good season.

He didn’t want to be here. He was going through the motions. He sulked even when he scored.

But we should have loaned someone to replace him. Did we get a loan fee for him?

I think the was unhappy with the amount of game time he was getting. Couldnt blame him he deserved a run if goals. But from my understanding he had an excellent attitude in training and around the club overall.

This loan is like Lookman on steroids for tormenting us isn't it.
We sell lookman and keep walcott/buy iwobi.

We loan out Kean and keep tosun. Does anybody at everton actually know anything about football? I mean, they do know the difference between quality and average players, don't they?...........

He wanted to play consistently.

One fun thing about our support is they have the ability to view a player being openly upset at not playing and not being openly upset at not playing as both being negative traits.

I'd love to know the extent of Duncan's involvement in some of the decisions at everton, namely the kean/lookman ones, as they definitely don't seem to be his 'type' of player.

Because he wanted out since it was clear with Dom now one of the best strikers in the league that he wouldn't be playing. It doesn't have to be an indictment of Kean.
But you need back up and options off the bench? Cenk Tosun is not good enough.I wasn't against loaning him out but bringing nobody in to replace him was poor.
