2020/21 Moise Kean

I don't care how old you are, getting 10-20 minutes here and there is never going to help you gain consistency. I find sometimes bravery is rewarded but in the cut throat premier league being brave sometimes isn't an option, even if it's the correct option.

He's been unfortunate in that the club has ultimately gambled on DCL for better or worse. Kean was never going to get an extended run with DCL on the bench.

I don't think there's any way on earth he'll want to come back here now, so if we can make some sort of profit on him let's take it and move on.

what sick nightmare is this!?

Basically, "young player who has a bit of arrogance ups his game when playing for a top side that isn't struggling".

He came from juve, a top team in his home country, with nice weather. He moves to the UK, with crap weather, an underperforming side and then a pandemic. He struggled and it's probably fair to say he downed tools. It wouldn't have been that way if he'd have joined us at the start of this season, when we were flying.

Completely different player to the one that I saw at Goodison.

Confidence and regular minutes will do that.

14 goals in 21 matches. Can we get £50 million for him?

I honestly dont see why not. Touted as one of the worlds best youngsters at Juve where he scored a decent amount when he played, now doing really well and scoring big goals for PSG. Only 20 years old, Italian international who will only improve - we should be holding out for at least £50m

Very true, it's much easier to get up for the challenge away to Barcelona in the knockout stages of the Champions League rather than getting kicked off the pitch on a frosty January night against Newcastle. Which is a mentality and arrogance issue for the player, if that actually is the case.

Nar basically "young player grabs chance he is given"

Some players are suited to different styles/leagues/teams. PSG create loads of good chances, and dominate most games they play, hopefully he smashes it there and we get a big fee for him. He won't come back, and even if he did, I doubt he'd be a success for us in this league anyway. Good luck to the lad.

Kean can play RW / LW in 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-3.

Of course we do not know how he had performed at Everton this season, but Kean's talent has never been in doubt.

The whole situation is quite made really, we own probably one of the most prolific young striker in Europe, we loan him out to a team capable of winning the CL, hes smashing it domestically and Europe and some how we end up, screaming for a forward, refreshing our pages on deadline day, praying we can get a 6 month deal over the line for Josh King.

Defo didn't drop a clanger there at all.

Anyone who expected a 19yr old Italian to come to the Prem and tear up trees was only going to be in for disappointment. still could have been managed better imo though. Old Trafford was the sliding doors moment.
