We should of gone for that 'Scotland' who just signed for Wigan. Good young Striker who knows where the Net is.
Or what about Beckford for Leeds? Ok its League 1, but he can score, and given the chance in the premiership I think he's run his heart out! Would be cheaper too than some Bellamy type player thats just after the money.

He have. We tried to get Naughton but SU went back on the deal when Spurs came in and offered more than we did. And there isn't such a huge pool of championship talent to bring forth to the top of the PL. Teams like Burnley, Stoke, Hull, Portsmouth, Wolves and the others on the lower half would probably have an easier time to be improved by a good championship player since their squads are weaker than ours. But I can't see many championship players improve our first-11.
