If only Every evertonian seen it the same as Davek we might just have put a little bit more pressure on uncle bill's easy life style , but while so many people don't see the truth it will remain the same every season, players walking round the pitch last game saying we nearly got there , oh well there's always next season , iam sick of this Moyes / Kenwright friendly relationship now , I think as a manager goes he's up there with the best , as far as ambition goes > well he must know under Bill he ain't winning anything , every season he says " we need to give Everton a fresh look" then we start the season with Beckford and Guyey , davey I can tell ya now fella you ain't getting a fresh look team under your mate bill

I'd love you to define "the truth".

Given half of people seem to be so ignorant of whats happening at other clubs, the UEFA financial fair play regs

and precisely what is going on.

Under present conditions, we're not going to win anything for a long, long time and steadily decline is guaranteed. That's about the top and bottom of it.

We're *better* than club's u, v and w; but in the gutter with clubs x, y and z.

Religious types call it purgatory, I believe.

Given you were telling people we were "going into administration" in February, it's ironic you're now stating this now Dave.

Are we in administration Dave?

right, but we may get some new gravel.

Football League clubs vote to impose Uefa's financial fair play rules
• Annual meeting approves plan to tackle debt problem
• Clubs will only be able to spend what they earn

Football League clubs have voted to adopt Uefa's financial fair play system where teams can only spend what they earn.

Increasing levels of debt and a drop in television income have convinced the 72 clubs to agree to the system "in principle" at the league's annual meeting in Cyprus.

The Football League chairman, Greg Clarke, said: "This is a very important step forward for professional football as it will help our clubs exert greater control over their finances.

"Much more work needs to be done, but I am hugely encouraged and impressed by the energy and focus of our clubs on this issue.

"They have been the catalyst for change and have shown a real desire to self-regulate in this area. I congratulate them on taking this bold step."

Championship clubs aim to have the Uefa model taking effect next year in time for the start of the 2012-13 season.

Clubs in all three divisions voted in favour of developing the "rigorous new measures" following a presentation by Andrea Traverso, Uefa's head of club licensing and financial fair play.

League One clubs also agreed to introduce a salary cap from the start of the coming season where teams will be allowed only to spend a fixed proportion of their total turnover on player wages.

The system, called the Salary Cost Management Protocol (SCMP), currently operates in League Two at a 60% threshold, and this will be reduced to 55% next season.

Uefa's financial fair play system for clubs in European competition will come into effect from 2014 and the Football League's announcement means almost all teams in the four divisions will be covered by spending constraints.

Although the Premier League has not adopted the measures, 19 of last season's 20 top-flight clubs – all apart from Blackpool – applied for a Uefa licence and so would have to pass the financial fair play criteria.

The Football League's move reflects concern over income – its new £195m domestic TV deal is a 26% drop on the previous one.

Debt in Football League clubs now totals £700m, and a report by the analysts Deloitte found that more than one third of clubs are paying out more in wages than they received in revenue.

The FA chairman David Bernstein said the Football League's announcement was "encouraging".

Bernstein said: "I welcome the Football League's new cost control measures. The FA supports these regulations and they are a welcome step in the right direction. While giving evidence at the Select Committee in March, [the FA general secretary] Alex Horne and I called for such measures.

"These new FL regulations are very encouraging, and I would like to congratulate Greg Clarke and all at the Football League for their continued progress in this area."

Pressures on pushing down salaries are starting lids. At all levels.

Its a good thing for us. I'll keep stating it.

Infrastructure. Square the circle lids.

They all know if it's not done it'll be done from outside (i.e. the EU) so they're doing it. Also for self preservation.

You're still unable to grasp the nettle and acknowledge the club's alarming rate of decline. There'll always be another Blackburn or Portsmouth for you to snigger at and that'll be enough. Just as long as the 'company' functions above administration but win nothing - that'll do you.

I dont even regard you people as Evertonians - you and the others on here who are happy with managed decline. You're just wannabe accountants satisfied with staying in business. Real Evertonians hunger for success and dont think of the club's skulking around with the also rans of mid-table as anything other than contemptible.

Davek. I just want to tell you I cannot stop laughing at that one.

Your George Bush style "you're either with us or against us" logic doesn't wash here.

Plus you're talking to someone here with a brain cell who's seen enough of your "lerner in!" "venkeys in!" and "Everton administration" statements to know the difference in supporting the club and someone who'd moan if we were 30pts clear at the top of the league with a team full of World Cup winners.

You've lost the debate and now you've thrown your toys and spat your dummy out. Ah well.

So you're more an Evertonian, because you say stuff on the internet?

As an evertonian, my mentality despite the length of years without, is a trophy-winning one, I still expect everton to become a top side again in the future, regrdless of current finances and despite his flaws, Moyes is the man with the plan to take us forward, we are slightly bigger than Villa, we finish above them regularly and going there is a step down for him, that is FACT.

BUT UNTIL WE START EARNING , WE ARE F#####KED its no use having regulations meant to help us, with a board unable or unwilling to take advantage of them.

listen hear, if we want to debate moyes leaving for villa, we will open a thread about it, ok?

Matt on a forum now I doubt very much people are going to start going in to , too many facts about finance that aren't out in the public , but since Kenwright has been in charge since the Johnson era I often ask myself as a fan , to name the positive aspects and the negative aspects he has brought under his ownership so here goes if iam wrong or leave something out maybe you or anyone else can refresh my memory ,

1st of all Positive
1, brought David Moyes to the club

End off .......

Negative affects
1, The kings Dock arena fiasco
2, Destination Kirkby
3, Fortress sports Fund ( farce)
4,Doing nothing to improve Goodison Park
and letting it rot to it's tired look
5,The blag bid for Allan Shearar of X million less than Newcastle bid the day earlier
6, The Eva Banega work permit issue , trecking down to London only for the player to know nothing about the deal
7, The park End annexe building which has now unbelievably been cancelled through some building regs of some sort
The list is endless iam sure there's a hell of a lot more but to me he's got to be the single biggest embarrassment of Everton football club IMO
