Moyes linked with Villa and Spurs

Coming on and saying "Moyes will be at Villa next week"

Is not coming on with an educated opinion.

And you're assuming we don't know people at many clubs lid.

Err.... What? That is the EXACT point I'm making, it IS an educated opinion, as in, I have learnt that it is very likely to happen.

With regards to the chap who said Moyes wouldn't have an academy to work with: Are you completely ignorant of anything outside of Goodison? Villa have one of the best academies in the country and have won the reserve league 3 times in the last 4 years as well as reaching two youth cup finals. As well as that, have you heard of Ciaran Clark, Marc Albrighton, Barry Bannan, Eric Lichai? Probably not. Stupid question really, I should've asked a true football fan, of which Everton have many, sadly they are few and far between here.

From two other Everton forums - Villa seeking permission to talk to Everton about Moyes.

Holy Guacamole!

I have mate in fact i watched them all closely, tbh knowing whats in our academy i wouldnt be swapping, i mean we wouldnt be swapping Albrighton for Rodwell would we, or Barckly or Hope for any of the others, ive actually had the pleasure of Clarks company one fine evening in Dublin - promiseing player like - still wouldnt be swapping though.

Indeed the other thing is these players are Moyes's players devloped in his way and coming to fruition.

This is where the board comes under major, major scrutiny. They need to back Moyes this summer or I think the Villa approach could have him listening. This more than ever should show the board he needs backing. He's been here 9 years now and hasn't really been funded once!

If he goes he will be a sell out to all at the club, thats for sure!

Or how about Garbutt? Or Bidwell? We've quite a few of our own to pick from lid.

Dave, could be wrong here so please put me straight if I am, but you almost seem to be rubbing your hands together with glee about this just 'cos it will give you a chance to score points off Matt Damon and confirm your opinions of the board.

Good player Albrighton. I wish we had him.

I might, actually. Don't think there's a huge difference in quality but we need a winger more than we need a holding midfielder.

Not at all mate. Moyesie to stay and get the cash he deserves is my position - always has been. It's just that (and you can check back in my posts on this) I've also always thought that Moyes would end up at one club after Everton - Villa.
