Moyes linked with Villa and Spurs

The Martinez smokescreen has really got the Villa fans, and detractors alike, confused. There are quite a few sources close to the club (Villa) that are adamant the deal is in it's final stages but won't be completed until DM returns from his holiday next week. Despite what people may think on Merseyside, Villa have the money to give Moyes the backing he needs to step up. When I say step up, I don't mean Villa, I mean the top 4 job that he has long been touted for, Villa can be that further stepping stone he needs to further prove himself because they can, and are willing to spend.

EDIT: Just read the comments referring to me talking "out of my arse". Interesting. Sounding very much like the Sunderland fans in the hours before Villa spent 18 million on Darren Bent.

I will stand by my post and will be back on here when it happens next week.

*BARP*

I don't have the time to check my last 3 years of financial accounts but I appreciate your concern. Anyway, back to football, if you are insinuating that Aston Villa do not have cash to spend then you are way off the mark. When MON left there was all sorts of bull**** claiming that he went because the club are broke. Enter Darren Bent. As one poster pointed out, Villa have recouped a fair amount of money and re-invested it. They will get another 15 mil for Ashley Young and will recoup a huge amount of money (from wages) from the departure of MON's misfits such as Sidwell, Warnock, Beye etc. You really should base your posts on informed opinion rather than regurgitating nonsense from Football365 and the like.

Why did Villa knock back Benetez?

A: he is a fat spanish waiter

B: he has been sussed?

C: He wanted £30M to spend and Lerner just laughed and handed him a tray and tee-towel b4 showing him the door which had a sign on it...saying...in benetiz...i dont trust....you fat man...shave that beard....andy johnson...and INTER

You sold to buy.

This isn't a Sunderland forum. This is an Everton forum.

Your biggest mistake.

I'm afraid I don't get your point. I'm not here to "gloat" or to belittle a great club like Everton, I'm only posting what I believe to be true. I'm on here to gauge opinion and to pass on what is most definitely happening. I expected a barrage of vitriol and I'm certainly getting that. That is the point of a football forum is it not? To have differing views? As I say, I will be back on here next week when the deal goes through, not to say I told you so but to show that I have not come with bad intentions.

See you next week then!

As you believe that that's true.

You've made a huge assumption that Evertonians on this forum don't have insight as to whats going on at Everton.

Not only that, there's plenty of reasons he won't be going to Villa.

The Bent money was all from Milner. You cannot sustain any more debt so their's no incentive for Moyes to leave Everton (who's academy have just won the national league championship).

Not only that, but we know different on here. And we KNOW Villa are in trouble financially.

Have to stand by assertion that Villa are very torpedoed, we called it some time ago and everything we said came to pass:

Massive debts
Massive interest payments
Selling their best players (16 mill for Ashley Young i would be disgusted with that)

That said i genuinely feel sorry for Villa fans, many havnt acknowledged how bad he is for your club yet worringly i dont think many have even begun to notice that the plight isnt even down to bad management its down to Learner being an absolute gangster and killing your club: the loans, building of debt, taking 15% of turnover out of the club annualy for himself, transfering fixed assets of Aston Villa football club to his company.

Like i say i feel sorry for the fans, but for your own sakes stop and look around, we called it on here a long, long time ago and to be honest - look at your players out list - its time to pay the piper.

Honestly have huge (ongoing) worries for Villa as a club.

Moyes wont be going btw.

Its the scale of it. They just don't seem to fathom which is the concerning thing for their fans. Its like mass hysteria or denial

And you are assuming that I am not aware of the financial situation at both Villa and Everton. Why would you suppose that?

The debt is impossible that much is true, iot really is sad seeing Villa being hawkd around from manager to manager, many bad managers coming out and saying they wouldnt touch it, the same day they are selling Ashley Young for 16 mill, im surprised by that - things must be bad - 16 mill for your best player, sad really.

I think the thing no one has realised is that its not bad management, i think their is something more sinister here, the chargeing of interest on his own debt to the club and the taking out of management fees of the club - which account for 15% of their turnover - 15% and no one has cottened on yet.

Couly you imagine if Bill took 15 % of Everton turnover annually, and some are still bigging up Learner and these type of models.
