The debt is impossible that much is true, iot really is sad seeing Villa being hawkd around from manager to manager, many bad managers coming out and saying they wouldnt touch it, the same day they are selling Ashley Young for 16 mill, im surprised by that - things must be bad - 16 mill for your best player, sad really.

I think the thing no one has realised is that its not bad management, i think their is something more sinister here, the chargeing of interest on his own debt to the club and the taking out of management fees of the club - which account for 15% of their turnover - 15% and no one has cottened on yet.

Couly you imagine if Bill took 15 % of Everton turnover annually, and some are still bigging up Learner and these type of models.

16 mil for a player with 1 year left on his contract? Do you know anything about football?

I'm kicking off at 5% Neiler lid.

But still. I think it's a sign of Villa's times that they're on twitter with a #moyes4villa campaign or something that they've been laid so low to have been hawked around like you said.

It would be utter utter madness for Moyes to go to Villa. He'd have to start from scratch entirely.

He'd not have the National Academy Champions team, with several prospects coming through, as he does here.

No Baines, No Fellaini, No Coleman, No Jagielka etc.

Jesus. Madness. And these Villa fans actually think they've got money to spend - STILL

Mass delusion.

Its the scale of it. They just don't seem to fathom which is the concerning thing for their fans. Its like mass hysteria or denial

You know the score mate, i think its sad, its not like we're sending a warning anymore, you just have to sit back and watch SSN now.

Like i say its the fans i feel sorry for.

I'm afraid I don't get your point. I'm not here to "gloat" or to belittle a great club like Everton, I'm only posting what I believe to be true. I'm on here to gauge opinion and to pass on what is most definitely happening. I expected a barrage of vitriol and I'm certainly getting that. That is the point of a football forum is it not? To have differing views? As I say, I will be back on here next week when the deal goes through, not to say I told you so but to show that I have not come with bad intentions.

Cheers for the info mate. Interesting stuff.

Thanks a lot Moyesie for 9 years service to the club.

That's class. Good one.

On another note, would you be sad to see him go if he did leave? Genuine question.

well it;s there in 'print' dude...so must be true....

but take from my well sourced sauce...my psychic cat...he says...no...and kittekat rules....sometimes...other times he just bored and pisses people off

He's not perfect. Some of his team selections and tactics this season have driven me up the wall. But, yes. He's done brilliantly in the transfer market in the whole, given us some great results, some wonderful football and left the club in a much better position then he found it. I can't think of who'd we bring in who'd be better.

And if he does leave, which I really don't think he will, I won't be angry with him. He's someone who comes over as a genuinally decent man who has given us loyal service for years with very little support from the board and he'll go with my thanks, if not my well wishes.

Why would I know less about my own club than an Evertonian would about Everton? And why would you assume that I am not able to form an educated opinion on other clubs? Yet somehow, you can.

Coming on and saying "Moyes will be at Villa next week"

Is not coming on with an educated opinion.

And you're assuming we don't know people at many clubs lid.

And you're just a WUM. You and your opinions on who REAL Evertonians are and who aren't!

Been on any protest marches recently Dave?

What are your views on Damon's idea that Bill Kenwright is taking £3M out of the club for scouting? Are you still laughing at that or has he persuaded you it's true now?

Lol!

Are you counting the interest on promisary notes and the management fees to Learners companys!

Daveys not budgeing mate:

Hes said it all a long and hes not the type to be a Ted.

I dont think he is oblivious to whats going on over there,

They are selling their best players,

Everton are in a helathier long term position as a football club in terms of what he has and whats coming through.

He wont or ever will be taking a job after Rafael or Martinez knocked it back.

* In other news i can think of a lot of ginger Scots - Mcleish, Strachan etc
