UPDATE: Alan Stubbs wife Mandy was in the hairdressers in Formby and said to the hairdresser "Alan got interviewed last week, he thinks he's got it"

Alan then proceeded to tell his family he's got the job and his brother in law informed me.

Lads, first home game of the season we must protest outside Goodison and tell Kenwright we had the chance of a wonderful manager and he blew it.

Phenomenal

very harsh, this thread needs cat gifs every now and then otherwise it would go into meltdown

agree there...it's only a few pages of harmless giggles...wasn't annoying anyone.

Me neither. After he left West Brom he was turned down for the Birmingham job. He hasn't really been given a fair crack at management.

then let us be that crack!

No, we're not

You asked a question I answered it

well, i'm interested in him :P

PULIS' AND CROUCHIES TOFFEE ARMY

Why would a woman who lives near Bolton be getting her hair done in Formby?

Set in stone to be Martinez. If it's internal why hasn't it been announced already? Martinez holding talks with Whelan on Monday, reckon he'll be unveiled on Tuesday. Not the worse name on the list but not the most exciting. Still hoping for Laudrup or even possibly Pereira (don't know much about but everyone seems to love him)

Im with you mate, i think it'll be Martinez. I said in earlier posts yesterday, Martinez as postponed his meeting with Whelan and if we dont make an announcement or appointment this week then were clearly waiting on Martinez.

I wouldnt be disappointed with that tbh but i think i'd prefer Pereira after all he's done at Porto, the guy seems a winner and reading about him and the way he likes his teams to play and close down, makes me want some of that at everton and i'd love Kenwright to go all out for him but i cant see it, Kenwright probs sees Pereira as too much of a risk without premier league management experience.

I think I'd rather have Di Matteo than Martinez.

Di Matteo had a 51.92% win rate with MK Dons, 48.19% with West Brom and 57.14% with Chelsea. He's won the FA Cup, League Cup and Cup Winners Cup as a player and the FA Cup and Champions League as a manager. He also took West Brom to second place in the Championship.

Martinez has a 50% win rate with Swansea and only 28.98% with Wigan.

Moyes has a 48.29% win rate with Preston and 42.08% with Everton.

His win rate in the Premier League with West Brom was 28%- pretty much the same as Martinez. They started off well and beat us 4-1 at Goodison but they lost 6 games on the bounce over Christmas and that pretty much sealed his fate.

Giving your answer in units of oylmpic-sized swimming pools, how much bleach would I consume if the following was to be announced as Everton's next manager?

(a) Tony Pulis
( b ) Rafael Benitez
(c) Neil Lennon
