Hes a complete chunt who stole money from the Club, plus hes failing quite hard in Russia.
But to go back to my first point, hes horrible vermin who stole money from Everton.
Im gonna repeat that again.
He stole money from Everton.
He's a manager for saving teams from relegation. Not for me mate.
So a manager who saves clubs from relegation is no good but a manager potentially fresh off a relegation is a good idea?Martinez nails it for me, a positive manager who plays positive tactics
But Martinez hasn't been relegated though has he? Plus he hasn't got a very good team and still manages to do well with any team he's got. He's the reason why Swansea are where they are now and built them up to be a great team a long time ago before he became manager of Wigan. So a manager who saves clubs from relegation is no good but a manager potentially fresh off a relegation is a good idea?
Also, what does "positive" mean? Not trying to be funny but they don't score a lot of goals, they don't win a lot of games and they are staring relegation in the face ... what good is being so "positive" doing them? Maybe a better manager would be more pragmatic and play a style which keeps his team in the Prem?
You can argue that isn't an issue here and our squad is good enough to turn a "positive" style into goals and wins. You can also argue that you like that style of play. But nevertheless a manager who sacrifices results for some kind of stone-headed insistence on playing a certain style (even if that style is popular) is not doing the best thing for his team. Just because it might not apply to us doesn't mean it's not worrying that a manager can't adjust his tactics based on the personnel at his disposal.
In fact it sounds almost exactly like what people criticize Moyes for ... just in reverse.

I don't get your point about sacrificing results? The man doesn't bottle games unlike Moyes.
Good comparison mate.no. and that is quite damn good job he has done with limited recourses imo. you cant do somersaults whith wheelchair
Martinez isn't a bottler. So Martinez is a good Manager cos hes never been relagated?
Neither has Moyes.
Martinez isn't a bottler.
Does Anfield ring a bell lid?Neither is Moyes.
Does Anfield ring a bell lid?
I'm saying Martinez could do a better job in derbies than Moyes can.Yes, its our former ground.
IF you have a point, spit it out.
