People who are saying Laudrup need to give their head a wobble. He has a full head of hair and is a handsome devil, but, those are only two requirements for the Everton Job.

The manager needs to be more experienced IMO, and what Laudrup has done to Swansea in the second half of the season isn't really encouraging.

Also we want a degree of longevity, around 5+ years at least.

I can't be the only person who saw that on Facebook and felt a rush of panic.

This with bells on 5 clubs in 7 years

Martinez is "arsing Everton around": He should leave his job on the chance of getting on Kenwright's *shortlist*. Yeah, you'd defo want a strategist as good as that in the dugout wouldn't you? Lol etc

Turns out today sucks.

Not over yet tho. all it takes are the immortal words:

"Eu estou no meu caminho senhor Kenwright. Eu não posso esperar para começar. agora onde eu vou encontrar o meu clube braçadeira e que chuveiro Neville, açude e Stubbs?"

("i'm on my way mister kenwright. i can't wait to start. now where will i find my club armband and that shower neville, weir and stubbs?")

6 points from a possible 30 is indeed shocking.

Not having that, if we want him then we should approach him.

This post confuses me. Are you saying Martinez shouldn't leave his job until he has a firm offer ? Because i agree with that.

ferguson resigns , 48 hours later moyes is signed , 7 days later there meeting in hotels making plans , 14 days - the new manager is even at there training ground.

everton - 14 days + after knowing there manager is going are we are still peeing in the wind.

id say either the moyes to utd deal had been arranged for months or our chairman is an idiot , if not both.

balls to martinez , balls to malky , balls to weir or stubbs , just appoint someone already ffs ! neville or pereira both are gambles but after much thought on the matter id give either a chance tbh.

bk needs to stop this crap and needs to be assertive , steady the ship and stop hamming up the situation.

For those people who want Martinez, Steve Bruce finished 14th and 11th with Wigan before Martinez took over, So basically he took Wigan backwards. He suffered a 9-1 defeat to Spurs. He's been massively hyped since he was at Swansea because he was a young manager who won league 1 in his first full season and he's a likeable fella. Still a massive gamble on our part to take him.

spot on. his reputation got him an interview with the RS and they must have quickly realized he is just all hype. He's not even the next Mike Walker, which is frightening

Correct, I don't see how him not leaving Wigan is in any way being disrespectful to us.
