Thing with Laudrup is his cv doesn't stand up to scrutiny, it doesn't match his massive reputation. He is a decent manager, but he isn't as great as people make out. Pretty sure Rodgers got more points than him at Swansea. Also failed spectacularly at Mallorca and done nothing at Spartak.

Dont know if someone as already posted this but there's rumours that Laudrup is still high on our wish list.

Credible source told me Michael Laudrup is at the top of Everton's list. Would he leave Swansea for Goodison though? #efc #scfc

I would not pay anything above £2m for Laudrup. He won a micky mouse cup but his PL results from January onwards were terrible. I prefer him than Martinez though.

Am I right in thinking that Porto would have to release a statement saying he is leaving before we can announce anything.

Similar to what we did with Moyes. Man UTD said nothing until we announced he was going.

united said they were signing moyes before we said he was leaving

A bag of Walker's crisps propped up on the bench used as motivation (score a goal and you can eat the bag) is better than Martinez.

Executioner's Bong: A feature of our play has been a territorial game plan manifested by a high defensive line meaning we spend a higher percentage of time ( 32%) in the opposition half than anyone in the league.

Mirror 0; Bong 1.

Surely you'd let them eat the crisps inside as well?!

and to be fair, I would say the Executioner's Bong summed up our general approach to the game. But if we're 1-nil up we almost always play the way the mirror described. I think balance between the two is smart, just wish Moyes had gone with high line approach a bit more often
