Ive watched his interviews, he comes across as a knob, I care very little for the sectarian crap, in regards that, they are all quite the bells.

Exactly mate I just hate to see him spending our precious money on Wigan players (and overpriced too!). I really doubt he has the network to scout players like Mirallas and Fer. Life sucks man this could happen.

Obviously I think any manager can adapt eventually but as it stands the kind of players he thinks are good will be way short of Everton standard and we can't afford mistakes at the moment as IMO were at a critical stage with our squad 2-3 quality players away from being pretty awesome.

Tbh I'm kind of hoping that our summer targets are already established (which I'm sure moyes will have) and we carry on with getting those guys in. Next summer/jan being more the time to let loose the new manager on bringing targets in, when he's acclimatized himself with the club, quality here and what is needed.

Yes, if I was the chairman and wanted to appointed someone who not worked in this league, I would go for a proven name instead of VP but the board are too scared.

This is very true! I always had a problem up there with the whole Celtic or Rangers thing as I never rated either, I was always a devoted Everton fan despite being expected to support Celtic due to my religion.

Doesn't matter if he on a free, cos that should not be why we want him. I'm not saying Martinez is proven but he ticks a lot of boxes for the board. Any manager will be a risk? I wouldn't mind VP but he still a massive risk, there must be proven managers around Europe, and pay the COMPO. VP and Martinez are the only managers I would take now out of all the names that been thrown into the hat.

One thing I've noticed is that every day when the Ebepton twitter account send out their tweet about the "What's in the Papers Today" thingy, they often mention the list of managers that are rumoured to be with us.

Not once have they mentioned Pereira's name in the tweet, even though they have regularly included articles about him...

Thereby, they are happy to leak jarg, but are trying not to advertise the fact that Vitor is currently polishing his sexy new Everton badge. It's on as feck.
