Why doesn't the club make a statement on the delay of the manager?

Steve Wigan explained that a few days ago. Business doesn't give a running commentary while going through the
process of making appointments to high positions, so why would we expect Premier League football clubs to? I'm paraphrasing
there.

Even so, I am getting impatient. I thought we'd have a decision on Monday.

From what I can make out the club doesn't do business on Sundays or bank holidays so they're working 24/5 in the search for a manager.

I always have a scout for him when we get beat, that's when the lesser spotted GL85/86 beast displays it's native behaviour.

A new manager, like you point out, and a defeat would expose him in the open in an instant.
