A League that Everton would do well to finish 4th or 5th. The EPL is average bar the top 4/5. Its really not that great.

That is based purely on your opinion an tbh is not even correct IMO. Whilst the PL has 4/5 teams you know will most likely end up at the top the rest in the league are more than capable of beating any of them on there day. Qpr beat Chelsea as well as plenty of other examples this season. Ourselves and Liverpool would be fighting for the title in Portugal. Over the course of a season benfica and Porto would be fighting for 10-6th in our league.

Baring prob 4 teams in Portugal the rest are of championship standard or worse. It's really not much better than Scotland.

No I am not wrong IMO but I am wrong IYO. I think the EPL is not all that bar the moneybag teams. If Benfica and Porto were in our league they would be pushing the top 5 so hard because they are very good teams. Braga and Sporting would struggle a bit alongside Everton who are no better than the latter 2 and nowhere near the former 2. We are not that good a team yet and we certainly can't handle technical footballers such as Porto and Benfica possess. Sporting and Benfica have spanked us in recent times.

Lets face it none of us know how this will pan out, if he's appointed we need to support him. We can't turn our backs on him before a ball has been kicked

While it's universally agreed on GOT than Vitor is a handsome devil, it's probably worth conceeding that Martinez is a moderately attractive young gentleman himself.
