Two things,

Either we really are talking to two other candidates and we don't want to name thier clubs out of respect for both parties.

Or

It's just propaganda, so when Martinez is confirmed managed we can say how we scoured the globe to find the suitable man for the job.

It's that, plus the fact that SSN like to keep the pot boiling to help their viewing figures.

At he very least you have nothing to lose with interviewing Pereira and other externals. Pereiras decision to delay is a straw to hang on to, unless there is an offer from another club.

"Roberto doesn't feel up to the task of getting us in the premier league"

What does this say about him? That he wouldn't be able to do it?

Does he think he's gonna take Everton into the champions league?

It's Whelan-speak for 'blame him for leaving and not me....I had a broken leg once, you know'.

IT'S BACK ON AGAIN!!!! Best tweet Alan Myers tweeted in a long, long time.

My guess for the 3d name is Stubbs & Weir then.
Haha that's brilliant!!!

Martinez is leaving Wigan as he says he's not up for the fight to bring them back up, why are we interviewing a quitter? When the going gets tough...and it will, we need someone with some bottle.

Did Bill come out and say the club were down to the final three candidates or was this just reported?
