You've answered your own question there mate, as that's the primary reason most wouldn't even consider him as being the right 'fit' for EFC.

His football management ability is open for debate, but for me he doesn't even warrant serious discussion due to his wretched attitude & personality.

But that "personality" issue as you put it has only come up in his time at Celtic in the middle of all that sectarian crap with Rangers.

It wouldn't be the same down here - and that's even without discussing the rights and wrongs of the stuff he's done and had had to put up with north of the border.

The fact that some fans will instantly take against Lennon is clearly a negative for me. But in a field where all the candidates have as much going against them as for them we're never going to end with the perfect choice.

I'd love Duncan for the hell of a ride we'd have but the risks are massive

I'd love Mr Sexy from Porto but the risks of a new country are significant as well - for a relatively young man who's only managed in his native country

At the end of the day now Hughes has gone to Stoke I only have to worry about Phil Neville so I'm 57% relaxed

People fume just for the sake of fuming nowadays. I've seen people fuming in this thread and calling for Bill's head just because of the names we're being linked with even though nothing had happened yet!!!

I think some people, especially of military background will genuinely give a toss about this though but I also think there is no way he would be appointed so I don't care.

Say what you like about our club but we always show class and dignity. Especially with our tributes last season.
