Just because the SPL isn't as competitive as the English or Portugese leagues, it doesn't mean we should rule Lennon out by default
You can say Martinez failed in the premier league, but he's looking to get straight back in if he manages us. MaKay won promotion to the Premier League but hasn't managed a Prem Team.
I think dismissing Lennon off hand, when he's got a win over Barcelona and a league/cup double to his name, because he manages a team north of Hadrians wall, is unfair
As far as him wearing a poppy goes, I have no idea. If he didn't want to he would be entitled not to, just as everyone else is.

Yes. Neither has any ex Everton player I've heard interviewed. Sharp and Ratcliffe were particularly damming of Martinez' capabilities as a manager. In fact I don't think I've heard ANY ex player rate him. Matt Holland said the Everton job was "too big for him' and said he has everything still to prove while cundy has nicknamed him Mythanez. He hates him.Is that right ?
I do not want someone who would refuse to wear a poppy.Just because the SPL isn't as competitive as the English or Portugese leagues, it doesn't mean we should rule Lennon out by default

Kenwright's actually managed to conduct himself quite well over the past couple of weeks. I mean, maybe don't start crying when you're employee quits, but since then he's done things in the right way. There's nothing wrong with interviewing internal candidates, especially since the impact of the entire backroom leaving would be destabilising. Making it clear they are valued was a good move. Apparently, he was also able to interview Periera - a sucessive title winning manager of one of Europe's biggest clubs - without the media getting wind of it until a week afterwards. The Martinez approach was handled with both professionalism and dignity, and it's hard to come across well when Dave Whelan is involved. There also seems to be one other interviewee for the job, although nobody knows who.
Thinking back to last year and Liverpool - the brush offs from the likes of de Boer and such - we've shown a bit of class here. It's just a shame it's been done at the same time we replaced our badge with a GCSE graphic design project without asking anyone.
There is one question I have for Lennon, if he was the Everton manager, would he wear a poppy?

Cos the poppy business will split the fan base and bring unwanted attention on the club. What has that got to do with anyone bening Everton manager? I wouldn't wear a poppy if I was manager because of where I come from. Lennon would be the same for reasons you obviously don't understand. I'm not backing him for manager by the way because he is a bell.

Which if Elstone is to be believed was not Kenwrights doing (and that makes sense, Kenwright isn´t at the club running day to day operations, that´s Elstones job ).
