While their keeper had two ABSOLUTE WORLDIE performances the likes of which I have never seen be fore.

Barnsley beat Liverpool and Chelsea in 2008. Should we appoint Simon Davey?

Not a fair comparison

You're ignoring the strong performances against the other teams in the group, in which Celtic were clearly the under dogs

I don't even like Celtic FFS, but even I think you have to give credit where it's due

It's called utilising your resources efectively

A key part of being Everton manager also

But yet he couldn't utilise it effectively enough to prevent getting beaten by hugely inferior opposition on 7 occasions last season.

He lost as many games as we did FFS. In the SPL, while managing Celtic, without Rangers in the league!!! Give it a rest with Lennon, he simply isn't good enough, in this, or any other lifetime/world.

Plus, hes an absolute beaut.

.

To be fair to Mikey - Lennon is currently second in the betting for a post that's up in the air. It's not unreasonable to debate him in the context of a thread "Moyes Potential Replacement"

He lost 7 times, against opponents who were tough to beat

Despite the skill level of the opposition, which is by no measure as bad as some of the people say on here, those were tough games. teams setting up to beat them, treating it like a cup final

I'm sorry but this whole "He's not good enough to manage us because he's only managed in the SPL" argument holds no weight for me.

I consider his success there a positive, not a negative

We've never seem him at a Premier League Club

Martinez managed one this season and failed to keep them up

pereira
assistant manager - primeira league winner , Portuguese cup winner , europa league winner , Portuguese super cup winner.
as manager - primeira league winner x2 , Portuguese super cup winner x2 , league cup runner up , european super cup runners up , last 16 champions league.

pdc and avb both said he played a massive role in the clubs succes as assistant. when vp took over he has also lost a lot of his best players.

Walter Smith, though.

A couple of interesting stats: Wigan averaged more possession than everton this season (54.4%>52.9%) and better pass accuracy (82.5%>79.4). Impressive considering their squad compared to ours.

They also conceded 17 goals because of individual errors.
