Exactly!

And his bell end "ooh and it'll cost yer £2 million pounds........" crap winds me up.

The best thing about Wigan being relegated was getting that bell off the TV. The sooner he's sat in a p*** soaked armchair watching repeats of Gardeners World the better
that was uncalled for

I don't want Periera, he has done nothing in his career to warrant him getting a top job. He's walked into a winning team with top players that AVB left behind. My nan could freakin win the Portuguese league with that Porto team ffs, and she's got alzheimers and can't speak portuguese!

I'm quite tired of all the anti-Pereira arguments that are just incorrect.

1) "He doesn't speak English". Where's the source on that? One journalist: "I believe he can muster the odd sentence, but I'm not sure if he is able to provide a coherent discourse." and that's all there is on that subject.

By the way, the journalist works for PortuGoal, a football site. Not even national media.

2) "He comes from a two-horse competition". So did AVB and Mourinho, and so many other trainers and players. For the people that know the Portuguese competition, they know that's not the case. But as I already said: So is the SPL, and Lennon managed to lose 7 times. But still there are people shouting his name as a possible contender.

Not that that means anything. It's just the easiest way to dismiss this stupid argument.

3) "People at Porto don't like him". Has been explained a number of times, but everyone seems to casually look over this. The chairman has been selling and selling, but supporters seem to blaim Pereira, who had little to say in all this.

4) "He's a coach, no manager". Not true. He was the one that orchestrated the transfers of Defour AND Mangala to Porto. They even bought Mangala for 5mil, in 2 years he's worth 20mil. He has a close connection with Luciano D'Onofrio through his agent (Hentoray, Mirallas' manager), who some of you might know.

Luciano D'Onofrio was the chairman of Standard de Liège when they launched some young talents by the name of Fellaini, Defour, Mangala, Witsel, Dante, ... when they beat us in 2008. They also bought a young Christian Benteke the next year.

So, I hope this clears up the air a bit about our next manager.

VITOR IN.

A solid argument

Would be very interested if he got the ob

Not sold on him but not against him either

I'm not against any of the remaining candidates to be fair. Stoke have taken the Hughes bullett so I'm a little more at ease about the whole thing

Yes they are lesser, but Celtic are lesser, so it evens out

100-75 - 25 difference
75- 50 - 25 difference

I'm sorry but are you saying that what ferguson did (being one of only two managers to ever win the scottish top flight three times with a non old firm team and one of only two non old firm managers to win it at all since 1966 but also the only ever manager to win a european trophy with a non old firm scottish team (beating bayern and real to do so)) is exactly the same achievement as what lennon did (winning the scottish double after the only competition was kicked out of the league)?

Just go back to RAWK shouting about how brenda is the new guardiola with allen as his welsh xavi ya whopper

haha what you chatting. i've been on this forum for 2 years

That's what has stopped me from commenting before on what I thought was trolling.

Could you give me an in depth reasoning why you think Martinez is the way to go, and not our Portuguese friend? And please don't use one of the four false stories I just explained on the previous page.
