Oh I don't know sheeds, you can go as far back as Owen coyle's one promising season to back up some peoples's want for change. Personally think any manager is replaceable but there needs to be genuine reason for change as your taking a massive gamble IMO replacing moyes based on he's "too defensive" or "never won anything" or "doesn't rotate enough" ect ect... Again IMO they are trivial reasons to want a change and there's no doubt people use some things to beat him with.

Would a new manager guarantee us a cup win? Nope...they may but they may also nosedive the team down the league.
Just IMO the grass isn't always greener. If I had the choice of the 90's again, a fa cup and continuous years of relegation battles vs moyes 00's of no fa cup but top end table side with European footy here and there I'd go with that.

Just my opinion like but I think there are clear haters of moyes on here that use every little thing to bash him with and truly think there is better out there for us. I'm not suggesting there's 100% not someone better out there buy its unlikely and given the finances and everything we'v go it pretty good.

His lack of commitment could be down to a couple things...maybe you know more? But if he's pushing for some investment and we get it then that's something I'd be greatfull for him doing. Of course he could be flirting himself about after 11yrs but does anyone really know enough about it to judge currently?

No idea what you are on about, this thread is about his replacement. Not asking him to leave, without signing a new contract, that is a real possibility, and this thread is looking at who would fill his shoes. Why can't you understand that? There's a good chance he doesn't want to be here next season, it's not that people are trying to find someone better, it's just as simple as he hasn't signed a new contract.

Moyes is staying IMO......

And thank The Lord that he is.

Yes he has his faults and can frustrate a little at times but I don't care...every manager has their flaws but his positives outway his flaws. Would love him to have some money to prove the haters wrong also!

he said he would wait until the end of the season when we were in the running for the CL, now we have nothing not even europa league.
All depends on what moyes wants, martin o neill after leaving leicester was in a similar scenario, If moyes wants to manage a top CL team he has to move and win trophies elsewhere.
Look at AVB lives off what he did in 1 season with porto, even after being sacked at chelsea, his past success was still enough to land him the spurs job

Great post.Moyes has his flaws but all in all he's done a great job for us.I'd love to see what he could with some money to spend.Im not offended by Everton fan's berating Moyes for not winning a trophy. They are just people who are passionate about Everton and who just want the best for our club. However i do get very offended when Kopites have a go at David Moyes for not winning a trophy.I'd love to see Moyes win a trophy for us and then we can say to them who was the last team on merseyside to win a trophy you deluded racist muppets! However Moyes could be leaving us and there's no harm in discussing potential replacements.

Oh sorry pal, must of got confused thinking I was in one of the other million of "moyes out" threads...there all pretty much the same...my apologies.

I'd love to have Frank de Boer here, especially if he brought his academy with. Don't think he'd come though.

@GaryLineker: For all the talk of Martinez being a great coach, and his teams do play good football, he never has sorted Wigan's appalling defending.

Is right

Indeed, I'd love anyone involved within the Dutch national side or maybe involved at Dutch clubs right now. Frank or Ronald de Boer, Bergkamp, Danny Blind, van Bronckhorst probably knows a thing or two, [Poor language removed] Advocaat can come and he can bring Stootman and Merterns with him. (y)

The market for the next Everton manager is frightening.. funniest is 'Arry Redkanpp at 20/1. Can just imagine the conversations between him and Kenwright when discussing the transfer budget. 'Arry would be twitching his face off.

No compensation for Moyes and going for the young, unproven (cheap) option worked last time for Kenwright. I think Stuart McCall fits the bill. Beat the Champions Celtic 3-1, runners-up and a European spot, plus his team plays attractive football on a tight budget.

honestly, kenwright really needs to look at the bundesliga. ideal model for what he has been doing for over a decade: get youngsters in and cheap players, sell big, rinse/repeat. Doubt he even knows what that league is then.

Rodwell, Arteta, Lescott.

All sold at a profit. We do use that model, unfortunately we have too many expenses to have the proper effect.
