honestly, kenwright really needs to look at the bundesliga. ideal model for what he has been doing for over a decade: get youngsters in and cheap players, sell big, rinse/repeat. Doubt he even knows what that league is then.

this, but not just kenwright can be accused of that. The whole of the league should be scouting Germany to be fair. Bucketloads of cheap young players coming through. Some good coaches too (Tuchel, Slomka, Streich, Dutt, Favre) outside of the big names like Kloppo and Heynckes

@GaryLineker: For all the talk of Martinez being a great coach, and his teams do play good football, he never has sorted Wigan's appalling defending.

Is right

Not convinced at all by Martinez to be honest. Though to be fair he doesn't have much in the way of resources.

I would seriously consider Benitez as Everton manager if Moyes leaves, he is a good manager and considers merseyside his home. It would also wind the RS up to no end. I would now like to add I desperately hope Moyes will stay.

I would cry for weeks if Neville, Duncan or Stubbs were handed the reigns.

I reckon we'd get Martin O'Neill. No ambition from the board. Sad times if Moyes leaves, not because he is irreplaceable, but because we'd get somebody ****e in to become new boss.

Roberto Martinez 5/2 Alan Stubbs 20/1 Stuart Pearce 33/1
Neil Lennon 5/1 Tony Pulis 20/1 Gary Neville 33/1
Martin O Neill 10/1 Michael Laudrup 20/1 Roy Keane 33/1
Roberto Di Matteo 12/1 Steve McClaren 20/1 Alex McLeish 40/1
Harry Redknapp 14/1 Laurent Blanc 25/1 Walter Smith 66/1
Gus Poyet 16/1 Paul Lambert 25/1 Graeme Souness 66/1
Malky MacKay 16/1 Sven Eriksson 25/1 Paul Ince 66/1
Phil Neville 16/1 Steve Bruce 25/1 Brendan Rodgers 100/1
Rafael Benitez 16/1 Sam Allardyce 25/1 Duncan Ferguson 100/1
Mark Hughes 16/1 Chris Hughton 33/1 Jamie Carragher 300/1
Ole Solskjaer 20/1

Paddy Power really takin the mick with Carragher at 300/1

Out of that list Laudrup, Poyet and Di Matteo are worthy contenders.

Personally I would be happy to give Phil Neville a go. He has learnt under two really good managers.

I will cry and self harm if Lennon, Pulis, O'Neill, Keane, Souness, McLeish or Redknapp even get interviewed should Moyes leave.

****ing hell, Ashley Cole has learnt under Wenger, Mourinho, Ancellotti, Hiddink, etc, why don't we give him a go?

Neville.... Jesus wept it will be a sad day for all concerned if he comes back

Reading that made me want to die. Bookies will tout some crap to turn a quid but those names???

I wasn't too unhappy with Martinez up until last night when he conceded three at home against a side who's season ended two months ago and who's top scorer was injured.
