Pereira as manager would be a huge risk.
I think that is true to say.He is coming to a new country,a new league,a new club.A league at a totally different level to anything he has known before.A league that is far more competitive than anything he has known before.
He is coming to a club that will not allow him to spend vast amounts to buy himself out of trouble,he will largely have to manage with whichever group of players he has.
He is not even the most experienced of managers with relatively little time spent as the no. 1 man.
That is not to say he wouldn't be a major success, but that success is far from guaranteed and as I have said his appointment would be a huge risk.
He would need to have done an extraordinary interview or outlined an excellent vision of the way forward for the club to merit getting the job.
I don't believe that winning a title alone with one of the strongest team in a lesser league is reason enough.
