C'mon Bobby, how long does it take to agree terms. You've been at it for weeks!

I just hope we don't get a host of excuses as to why he's dropped us out of top 4 contention, or worse dropped us to mid table, half way through the season or at the end of it.

We don't need a manager to take us back to the '90's, we need someone to push us on. You'll have the best fans in the world behind you, so do it! Learn from your Wigan days, sure up that defence, and learn to grind out results instead of just getting up for the big games

And Bill, announce it already!!

Not that any of them read this thread

You know what I find a bit weird. And i've been waiting to say this, but will now this seems just about done (famous last words).

Does anyone remember when Wigan had just ripped Huddersfield a new one in the FA Cup. They went to Martinez just after the draw for the quarters, and told him it was Everton or Oldham. He smiled and gave a nod. I've not been able to get this out of my head since all this manager lark has been going on.

It was probably nothing, but it totally stuck with me.

Probably thinking "I hope its Everton, I hope its Everton"

I remember that, he almost dismissed Oldham out of hand before almost going back and saying that Wigan would face a challenge whoever they played, but he was pretty much straight on to talking about Everton, going to Goodison etc. ...
Not like they were a League 2 club who get a pop at a PL team every five years!

Seems like any moment now we'll get the "Roberto Martinez has been appointed Everton manager" news from the Beeb and SSN and that, and then about three hours later the club will actually confirm.

The return of Dithering Dave. Surely Moyes has had enough time to decide which members of his Everton back-room staff he wants to take with him by now. Kenwright should man-up, set a deadline and we can all move on.
