So a guy who won the Norwegian league is a better option than a guy who has kept a Championship squad in the Premiership for three seasons and has just beaten Man City to the FA Cup ?

it's only what I heard mate, but a lot of clued up man united lads were touting him as SAF's successor not too long ago

he's learning his stuff from the ground up, then he's gone to a club and given them their first league title

he's not to be overlooked mate, he knows how to win, and he knows the prem

we're thinking out the box here, he is deffo a shout

No way. Pereira is managing Porto and play in the Champions League.

He has inherited a squad of players far superior to every other squad in the league they play in, save for Benfica. He wears the captains armband and therefore seems a bit of a bell. Goat wants him.

Won the French title with a budget smaller than Wigans .......

Pfft I could win the French league.

If you know nothing about European football you probably had never heard of him.

I admit I knew very little. I knew who he was and who he managed, and since he was linked I've researched him.

Just more attractive to me (in more ways than one) than Martinez. We're Everton remember. We should be aiming a little higher than the guy in 18th in the league.

IS THAT OK?!

Played Football Manager have we mate?

I've only heard of Kendall backing Dunc so far. As far as I know Ferguson is very private and has only recently started doing more media. I'm not sure if he has any ambitions to manage, but it quite possibly wouldn't suit his personality. How could he instill discipline given his various misdemeanours for one thing?

Neville seems much more appropriate. I'm not quite sure if he's enough of his own man though.

Southall on Talksport today too.

Benitez is the only one who will guarantee we won't drop off our current pace, and maybe improve.

Guarantee?? There are no guarantees! And his record in the transfer market is enough to make me think we'd plummet under Rafael. I just don't understand people suggesting him, I don't think anyone else in football has spoken about Everton which such disrespect and some Everton fans (the minority thankfully) are actually suggesting him to be our manager. Where's your ****ing pride?

So what? To say Martinez has more pedigree than Pereira is an untrue statement. People all over Euro know who Pereira is since he is the manager of Porto. Not a lot of people outside England know Martinez as he is the manager of a small club which is about to relegate.
