Marcelo Bielsa.

Super, super coach.

Players improve for him automatically.

Players who have played for him always say he ws best coach they ever played for.

agressively attacking football.

Consistently promotes from youth team.

Consistently done it with very little funds.

This is the guy who should get it. Way better than Martínez.

Totally agree there. Someone posted about him a few days ago. I didn't know who he was. Googled and then realised who he was and how good he is. I'd have either him or Rene Girard as my first choice, Vitor if neither of those are available.

I must be the delusional one at times, I'm under the impression this is Everton FC - nil satis nisi optimum. That used to mean something, to some of us it still does. I couldn't give a rats ass about the cup, unless we won it of course, I'd much rather be fighting it out for a CL spot.

Well based on some of the snippets beeing posted here we could be approaching Martinez with a view to the next manager of the club.

So I choose my words carefully and you can vault this........

Martinez is a manager for Bill Kenwright not Evertfon Football Club
Martinez will be sacked before he sees out his contract with Everton
Martinez press interviews and execuse for defeats are the worst I have heard from any top flight football Manager.

Good F****** Luck with that.....You,ve been TOLD.

I like your style

If you look at the players Wigan have sold in the last few years, without using the money to replace them I don't think they would be in the relegation trouble they are in now.
Valencia
Palacios
Rodellega
N'Zogbia
Moses.
There are probably more,I just can't think of them.
Any manager who has players of that quality sold from his squad without getting funds to replace them is always going to be fighting relegation. That is not say he should get the Everton job, but it is just wrong to say that he shouldn't get it because his team is fighting relegation.
If you appointed SAF as manager they would still struggle.Their players are not good enough.Martinez is good enough to get enough performances out of them to keep them competitive and they have a couple of really good players, but over a season I am not sure any manager could do any better han him.

Who was the manager in charge when they lost all those players? Bruce? ...... Nope Martinez. If he can't hold onto players and then can't replace them. I don't want him. Regardless of the fact he can't win home games.

We need a manager who will push our board hard for support and funds. Lets not forget Martinez didn't need to leave Swansea. he went because he thought he could do better at Wigan. He's not this poor victim that's had everything go against him. he's the manager of a football club that's about to get relegated. The relegation will be down to him as the manager. You can't claim the credit for the highs. and then abdicate responsibility for the lows.

That wouldn't be a bad team tbh.

......hope we don't leave things too long. Bill is probably doing things the right way, not approaching his target until the season is over and he has official agreement to do so. Anybody else would be wheelin' and dealin', putting the feelers out to see who fancies the post. The sooner he has somebody lined up, the sooner he'll have an understanding of transfer requirements.
bit concerned that Moyes linked with Jags in the gossip column.
