That is utter BS to be honest. More likely is he will have us finishing in a league placing that corresponds to our wage bill (i.e. 9th or 10th), which is what he has achieved at Wigan.

Not so sure, if your tactically that nieve defensively, then your league standing is unlikely to change much with better players.
If you play a high line against quick opponents without quicker defenders... Your going to lose.
Having said that, playing quality football if he can sort out the defence balance will see us improve.
