Tony Scott of the echo tweeted that he wants to the everton job but the people at everton don,t

Take a good guess who that would be....this is what this club is up against an old man blocking the future.

yeah thats true, told Everton wouldnt even consider Periera despite interest from his agents

WHERE THE [Poor language removed] HAS THIS STUBBS HOAX COME FROM?

and what happened to "Bill will listen to the fans bollox" if he's going for this option - he can listen to the sound of bank account refunds on season tickets if he picks him...

I know you are alluding to the Board/money/Bk stuff, or at least I think you are, but the backroom stuff that has been built over the last few years in particular has been a key element in us doing, well, ok, with the potential to kick on to the much loved phrase, "next level".

If it is Stubbs, then at least that will all be left intact, with the same coaches, scouts etc etc in place, as opposed to 25 new faces coming in. (And I know Moyes has already taken one guy to Utd).

Just a thought. It is not just the manager that prepares the team, it is the group behind him. IMO, that group is/was as important as the man in the dugout.

Good post, that. It's certainly a matter of debate as to how many of that team needs replacing.

which one went with Moyes?

9th, 5th, 13th and a likely 12th this season with Mainz...

It'd certainly be a risk.

you have to take into account what a small club Mainz is and the fact that no coach in Mainz's history (including Klopp) has kept them in the Bundesliga for 4 consecutive years. And they haven't come close to looking in danger during that time.

Cant remember the name, might have been on here I guess. The guy who has designed the way we look at players we are scouting basically, but he was one of a team of about 6 guys, so we still have the process intact.

Well if Fifa's anything to go by then he's not done too bad with caliber of players he has. I certainly wouldn't be throwing myself off a cliff if we got him as opposed to some of the other names being tossed around, that's for sure.
