It might well end up being Weir because this club is run like a whelk stall, but if it's on the verge of 'confirmation' then enough people would know enough people to tumble his odds dramatically and the prices he's quoted at now across the board dont reflect that.

If it was an internal appointment it could be made immediately,in fact it could have been made last week.The combination of Martinez and one of Stubbs,Neville,Weir or Ferguson as assistant is most likely.
If it is Martinez then we may see some movement in that direction after their parade today and reported talks between the manager and chairman.

I know very little about Pereria, but what makes him different to Lennon in that they have both won championships in lesser leagues. Pereria seems to be considered an inspired choice whereas nobody wants Lennon ?
