Interesting from Sir Alex Ferguson - "I'm dead against this fast tracking of coaches. It doesn't do them any favours"

Some utter, utter sh*te written on here today. We will NOT be making an 'internal' appointment and throw 10 years of progress down the drain. It has to be someone with a proven track record who can at the very minimum keep this team performing at the level of a top 6 side. There will be plenty of takers even considering the financial restrictions on the new incumbent. There is no point in wishing for a quick appointment - the least we can do is expect Bill to take his time if it means getting it right. It's a crucial decision, and he knows it.

What's not to like.

"Rafael Benitez met officials from Napoli in London on Monday to discuss replacing Walter Mazzarri at the Italian club."

Devastated..

Hypothetical question here lads.....

Would you take a dissapointing internal like Stubbs IF the blow was cushioned with a shock announcement of a Rooney return???
