Moyes pushed out by entitled West Ham Fans

I really don't want us to repeat the mistake of hiring based on nothing but sentimentality, I don't hate the man himself, but can also see why they'd be okay with him running his contract out and it's not cuz of FoOtBaLl sTyLe, it's because of results.

We're not linked with him though are we ? we will surely stick with Dyche for the foreseeable future.

With regards to the results thing, I think they are more or less where you would expect them to be with the 8 clubs above them all having superior squads.

I think with similar results but with more ambitious football he perhaps would still be in the job next season. Exciting football isn't his thing though.

I agree with them tbh. They have the best squad they have had in quite some time, and should be doing better. Moyes can keep you safe from the drop but he'll never be a winner. He just knows how not to 'lose'.

Always quite liked West Ham, hope they do well after he goes

Half the people here would be very okay and actively want him here, regardless of links, and will actively jump on it.

it's not about exciting - you're witnessing a season where there's a top 6 and worst 6, and they've been unable to beat even the worst 6 consistently. Nothing to do with how - we've got as many points ffs, and we were horrible for about half the season and woke up in the last 4 games.

He’s better off away from them. Saves them from relegation (twice), takes them into consecutive European qualifications, has put together a forward line with Kudus Paqueta Bowen, wins them silverware.

He could be challenging for the title with them yet their blert fans would still be moaning about ‘the football’.

Its similar to his time here to be honest, he raises expectations then cry baby fanbases absolutely blast him when he doesn’t perform a miracle and have them battering top 6 teams away from home consistently.

Most likely path for West Ham is they drop back down, battle relegation again, and they’ll find some trendy young European manager who will do half the job Moyes has done and they’ll absolutely worship him for it.
I don’t think a single fan would moan about the football if he had them challenging for the title.

He’s taken them to Europe in consecutive seasons, but failed to do so this year.

His forward line is still very dependent on Michail Antonio.

He didn’t beat a single top 4 (as it was then) team away from home once in the 11 years he managed here.

You come across like you absolutely live and breathe Brexit.

This is everything wrong with some football fans now. WTF does thinking Moyes has done a decent job at West Ham got to do with politics?

The football Everton played when Lescott Baines Pienaar Arteta Osman Cahill Yakubu were all in the line up was the best we’ve played aesthetic wise in the premier league easily. It was at a technical level better than anything else we’ve produced.

I’ve genuinely got no idea what you’re talking about or what it’s got to do with Moues doing a decent job at West Ham.
I realise I should have known better than to expect an honest discourse from you, but still. Yawn.

They're running his contract out, where's the sleazy?
Yeah, Moyes would have been really hoodwinked by the use of running down of a contract to make a break for better things. Wait a second ...

Moyes isn't the worst manager in the world and I am sure in time he will be well regarded by most Hammer's fans for their first major trophy in ages. However, I also understand that dull football and treading water with no obvious signs of progressing to the next level is frustrating and a new manager who has the potential to improve the style of the team and challenge upwards is a gamble worth taking.

If a Club's hierarchy seeks safety and mediocrity then that's what they get. If they seek to be ambitious then they get sniped at by everyone else. It is what it is. More teams need to not know their place and aim higher. I include Everton in that list (except I believe that our place should be at the very top).

Which of the clubs above them should they expect to be above?

Moyes has kept them afloat with shrewd transfer dealings in the same way he did with us.

Lopetegui is all the negativity and none of the transfer acumen.
