Moyes pushed out by entitled West Ham Fans

This might be the best internet video I've ever seen put together.

In other news, seeing people on here say West Ham 'can now push on for Champions League' has made me do a proper belly laugh.
They will be relegated within two seasons and their temporary stadium is falling to bits.
Whoever they get in, I hope they play scintilating football and get relegated.

It’s just lazy stereotyping as usual.

Some of the football under Moyes was poor no doubt, some of it was the best we’ve played in the prem, but anyone just deriding his entire tenure as keep it tight and pinch one, or knife to a gunfight is being lazy.

It’s the same as Martinez’s first season. You’d think it was 09-11 Barcelona the way some people go on about it. I saw every game that season, there were some when we were absolutely brilliant but there were many games when we were dire for 60 minutes and then won the game thanks to a player being subbed on (usually when Martinez finally went to Pienaar Osman or Naismith) or a wonder goal from Barkley Lukaku or Mirallas from an individual effort tor free kick. Even the first few games were absolutely tedious and bland stale possession was on show in large parts of lots of games. By the end of the season there were quite a few sounding warning signs about the trajectory of the football and it was bourne out in the next couple of seasons.

There was little difference style-wise in Martinez's 1st season and Moyes last season. The major difference wasn't the managers, it was Lukaku.

Moyes's final season we regularly had 60% possession, did well against the better/best teams and finished 5th because we couldn't finish off the bottom feeders. The problem was despite having all the possession Jelavic went from not for sale at any price (really he was POY the year before despite only playing 1/2 season) to GOAT Turbofraud.

The best thing Martinez ever did as a manager was to get a ace striker in here.

It'll be downhill after him.

He may have won them a European trophy. But finishing top ten and only making the quarter finals of europa isn't good enough for the standards set by.. erm.. Moyes.

He has the best win % of any west ham manager in history apparently. In Europe consecutively and winning a trophy.

I can't wait till they get what they asked for. They will be the team i want to lose beside the RS next season.

This is the thread to monitor thier downfall.

Love the way hes built a sustainable squad here that can improve season on season.

Oh, wait...only Kudus is 23 the rest in their prime or past it.

Blown a fortune there...done a short term cash splash

He's been largely crap all season and in an obvious downward spiral - they're acting on time, just like we didn't with Martinez when the signs were there.

They've got good players and spent good money and are playing worse than us currently, to put his current stint into perspective.
Been a bed of roses here since Martinez moved on
Yes, with that ground and the squad, West Ham fans want to be, and should be, challenging for CL places. They will NEVER have that with Moyes. They got a 6th once tbh. nIt seems like he has conned us into thinking that top half is acceptable and that we should be greatful
West Ham apart from one or two seasons, West Ham have never been as successful as under moyes.
He leaves as one of the most successful managers in their history, with another top half finish.

Would it be out of bounds from rationality to call him a turbo scumbag?

About as relevant to the point and Moyes as Deportivo la Corunha's recent demise.

We were too late to sack Martinez based on that 1 good season, just like we're always too sentimental to do anything on time and take at least half a year too long to do the obvious thing. The Everton Way.

No real interest in West Ham - bit of a nothing club to me. Although this is intriguing, they don't seem too grateful or aware of how big winning a trophy in Europe is. Villa are flying in 4th and went out in a semi. Be interesting to see what happens next!

Erm..... that is not success mate, that is exactly the problem.

Success is relative though. West Ham have not really been consistently in the top flight for very long periods, never mind top half. Therefore, in relative terms, finishing in the top half for a few seasons can easily be determined as a successful period.

i MEAN WE HAVE SPENT 50MIL OVER THE LAST 5 YEARS, THEY HAVE SPENT 550 MIL (excuse caps). Moyes is a safe manager no matter what he spends - the West Ham fans, quite rightly, want a manager who can push on - as did we often under Moyes.

Moyes is a weird myth for our club.

EDIT, I like the guy and enjoyed his time here but, he is not going forward as a club or manager which, is what we all want.

Just listening to his interview on Sly and it gave me the feeling he had dawdled on a contract offer and the head 🍆 salesman has taken the decision out of his hands for him.
Appreciate it’s a stretch but what he said and the way he said it sounded like there was more to it then them simply negotiating with someone else on the QT, he was way too passive for it to have been a stab in the back.

Yeah we played some good stuff under Moyes, especially that final season

Swansea away and Southampton at home immediately come to mind
