Villa are doing alright.
Only a matter of time before the bottom drops out I think

Moyes is basically fine if you want to steady the ship on a budget
That's what Newcastle and Villa need right now
Have Moyes for a couple of years and then bring in a new manager with a bit more ambition when Ashley eventually sells
would you rather have pulis or moyes? honestly mind...
pulis did very well at palace, but he was hardly a genius at stoke
moyes is perfect for newcastle at the moment i would say
I would of loved to have seen your views on Moyes before he was oppointed Utd gaffer. No doubt he has left a bad taste in your mouth; as well as many a manc; but i would of loved to have seen your views on him say... 3 years ago.Paul Lambert and David Moyes are about the same calibre of manager so I'd agree with this - Villa would be perfect for The Ginger One.

My views on him 3 years ago can be dug up from RedCafe, I'll try and find a few posts and copy them here when I finish work later mate - I did realise that the Dour One existed before he took over at United you know! I will never forget the day I heard he was appointed as our new boss - I was close to tears, and I am not exaggerating!
I couldn't stand him or watching Everton (no offence). I ALWAYS avoided Everton if you were on tv and have done for years until Martinez took over. I couldn't stand him, he was dour, negative, his post match interviews were dull as dishwater.
Sit next to a City supporter at work, and he essentially said the same thing
Says he just didn't like Moyes at all, but he started liking Everton once he left
I had no idea just how unpopular Moyes was with fans of other clubs

But what happend after october mate aftr we conceded a few late goals. normal service resumed.

Same with me. I really like Everton now, it's weird. I wasn't keen on you lot at all when Gollum was in charge. I never, ever rated him and wondered why the hell Everton stuck with him for so long? You could have had Sam Allardyce or Tony Pulis in charge, it wouldn't have been any different. Yet apparently Moyes "did amazing work at Everton" according to some journos and pundits. Baffling.
I'm no great Moyes fan but you're just being silly now, mate.
