Moyes sacked by United

Liverpool...Gerrard has surely got to decline before too long, especially as he's got a lot of ground to cover by himself. They've been fortunate not to have any serious injuries with a very thin squad. And, given their recent transfer record, they could easily blow tens of millions and disrupt the balance of the side.

Chelsea...Terry, Lampard and Cole could all be leaving. There could be a massive overhaul of their strikeforce too, which might not necessarily go well.

City....If Aguero remains fit and they improve their defence they should be much stronger next season.

Arsenal...They've missed a lot of players this season. Winning the cup could be the catalyst for a title challenge next season, especially if they bring another quality striker in.

Spurs...They've got some rebuilding to do and it could take a few seasons.

United...They still have some talented players and, if a new manager can get them playing like a team, they should be much nearer the top.

Everton...We dropped quite a few points early on and Lukaku's lean spell didn't really help. I think we'll be slicker and play even better football next year.

Good points mate. I think Arsenal will lose the final btw and they will be looking for a new manager too.

For me there's the emergence of a lot of really good young players about to happen. There's also the fact that 70% of the league is gash.

Our league position will rely on consistency against the gash and results in big games. I think overall we've shown we now have the mentality for big games and a manager who's rarely out thought with players rarely out fought.

We always think clubs spending brewsters will kill us but it rarely does. It brings it's own problems in a lot of cases. The futures bright for us.

surely Moyes can't be 100% blamed for how terrible United's players have been.

He's the boss though and in any walk of life if the boss can't motivate his staff then he takes the blame. Personally I think the majority of their squad is absolutely turd and they need a massive overhaul but Moyes won't get the 5-7 years he would need to do that. Christ he's already spent 60 odd mill and they look worse than what they did before.

I agree. We've kept clean sheets against United (twice), Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs without having to be ultra defensive. A lot of the goals we've let in have been down to errors rather than teams opening us up. If we can keep our concentration and starve the opposition of possession more there's no reason why we can't be even more formidable.

At the other end we should have more options and, hopefully, the Lukaku (striker)- Naismith- Mirallas axis should have deepened their understanding of each others' game.

I think that Roberto's plan for this year is to get us all being comfortable on the ball and he didn't want to overload the players by giving them too many other things to think about tactically. But next year he might tweak things a bit more and experiment with different systems.

The buck stops with the manager

Of course but the players such as Rio, Vidic and Others have shown him no respect and went against him early on in the season. Rio was a disgrace. Moyes is a good hard working manager who deserves a chance at a top club, yeah I know he made terrible comments about us but I've forgive him for those as he was now Man u boss, not ours. Its a shame its ended for Moyes but good that he left cos we ended up with Martinez. I hope he get a chance to show how good he is at another club.
