One of the biggest hurdles for whoever replaces Moyes is a certain Wayne Rooney has a say in transfer targets!

I am certain he wanted out of United so concocted the most ludicrous contract going.

a say in transfers
club ambassador when he retires

just mental. The very best managers will not accept interference from anyone as they go about their job. When you consider what Man U have given Wayne, he looked totally uninterested on Sunday, his heart just isn't in it.

Football goes in cycles, always has. United's problems run deep. This was always going to be the case. 26 years in football is an eternity! Moyes just walked into the biggest poison chalice going and it's hillarious.

Anyone know what is this story about someone on the bench during the Olympiacos game asking the 4th official to send Moyes to the stands because the team would be better off without him? Some sports reporter was talking about it before on the radio but i might of misheard him since the radio in my car is a bit wonky at the mo.

The players have done the dirty on him just like he did it to us, what a total circus. I never minded seeing UTD win because of the wind up the RS factor, even thou Moyes has gone now i think i still want them to get beat and sink, horrible club.

I think it was more a case of his truly odious agent seeing the club at a low ebb and taking the opportunity to say 'another half mill or my boy walks' to a club that could ill afford to lose a marquee player with everything else that was going on. I suspect RVPs man will want a word with the new guy.....

I hope this bunch of risible yahoos get their clock cleaned in each of their remaining fixtures, Class(less) of 92 indeed....

I forgot I made this montage way back in September, but it was basically a comparison of David Moyes to Coach O'Reilly from the film Mighty Ducks.

He was like one of my first childhood villain character and when Moyes made the switch to United (and started popping his collar) the 2 of them kind of merged in my head!

Anyways, this was the result!

If even half of that us true Moyes may actually get some sympathy. Disgusting, really.

Utd have acted disgracefully throughout this whole affair ........ and the worse thing is that no one is really ripping in to SAF for appointing his "mini me".
I'm willing to bet that Utd will turn in to a managerial merry-go-round like Chelski now. No more 6 year contracts on offer that's for sure

Still no sympathy for me.

me neither. He was a mouse instead of a man. A manager gains the respect of his players by showing who's boss, closely followed by effective coaching. Ferguson always said the secret of his success was that everyone knew he was The Man.

You can just imagine Rooney openly taking the piss out of Moyes, then being rewarded with that huge contract with those questionable benefits. Who from the playing staff is gonna respect Moyes after that?

Early on in his tenure, he claimed a draw away to someone like Palace was a decent result. Evra then fumed in the media about how Man Utd are expected to win these matches, not be happy with a draw. Cue David Moyes sheepishly admitting in his next interview that draws like that aren't good enough for a club like Manchester United.

I don't buy all this "oh, but he acted with so much dignity" bollocks. He acted like a frightened mouse, afraid of what people would think of him. He wasn't always like this, his first 6 or 7 years at Goodison were dynamic and positive. It went wrong for him somewhere, something in his attitude shifted for the worse a good 3 years before joining Man U.

I hope he genuinely learns from this. Learns that this was all his own making. Sacking all those coaching staff at the beginning and replacing them with naff was the first nail in his coffin, if he doesn't recognise things like this he'll never reach the heights of Everton or Man U again.
