MOYES, YOU ARE OUT OF ORDER

Martinez makes step up to Everton and says nice things about us: "Top man, good lad, Bobby, nice one mate."

Moyes does it at United: "Koff Moyes you spineless pathetic loser. Stop being happy about your new challenge, you insufferable suck-up".

He's not a f*cking Evertonian and never was. He handled it the best way he could. Man up and move on. Weapons.

It comes down to the mindset of each individual supporter.

Maybe for some it doesn't matter that the manager of Everton was given an invitation to the home and expected to be told that we were losing one of our players, the way that it was phrased is what really annoys me.
If he said that he had been invited because SAF wanted to try to sign one of our players and wanted to discuss if he were for sale and at what price then that was perfectly acceptable and correct.

If you cannot see how it made Everton look like a small time operation compared to the mighty Utd who simply decided what players they wanted and when.

In my opinon it is more insulting than anything Rafael ever said about this....and while on the subject of Liverpool ,can you imagine their supporters reaction (rightly so) if their manager painted a similar scenario as Moyes painted.

I don't believe that any insult was intended, but it didn't reflect well on Everton.

Wholeheartedly agree with this.
Anyway lads, at least we're all agreed that United are getting it when they come to Goodison.

Forza Bobby, Forza L4 Azzurri.

All it reflected is the truth.
What you would have liked is more drip-fed delusions but the fact at the moment is that Everton is a club that when producing a talented player or manager can do nothing really to prevent them being taken.
Swansea and Norwich and WBA and everyone are running riot buying players and we aren't.
Moyes would have left regardless because CLEARLY Bill hasn't organised the type of financing that would have convinced him that he could reach his ambitions at Everton.

If you're hating Moyes for how he made Everton look then you're misdirecting your anger.
What you hate is how Everton looks.
And that is its own problem at the moment.

But, does it reflect the truth ?
Has Baines signed for Utd ? , will Baines sign for Utd ?...I don't know the answer and if pressed I would say no.

Ironically , it is Man City more than Utd who are in a better position to throw silly money at a club to make sure they get a player.Utd have a huge level od debt and are forced to be more careful with their spending.
For Utd to sign Baines I think it will take a lot more money than they want to spend and I don't think that will happen...it didn't happen last year and Moyes hates spending more than he thinks a player is worth.

WEAPONS LADS.

On a serious note, I really agree.

Not weapons just the injustice of the chairman & the Board letting DM do this just taken as idiotic fans who they think should not have a voice! I would imagine DM knew the was going long before he did - Other Chairmen would not have put up with his pathetic = excuses of the reasons not to sign a contract - he would have had trouble to get the UNT job if he had have been sacked for not signing it for an age! BK & the board of Directors are to blame, & now DM is just rubbing salt in an open wound! SAF illegally approached him he thought it was a chat about a player - how naïve does he think blues fans are???????

Nail, hammer, head.

Not really...more foot, mouth, in on the part of Moyes. The Peter Principle may well apply to Moyes at present. One step too far.

Garbage. Moyes is merely looking to ingratiate himself with the United faithful, same as every manager that moves to a new club does. The sound bites are universal, Martinez has spouted similar lines himself.

The only ones looking to make an issue out of this nothingness are those who were against Moyes per se, when he was being roundly acknowledged as doing a great job here, there were those *cough* that couldn't see it Steve. Their view on the man looked a tad foolish when the biggest club in the country came knocking & he was personally recommended by arguably the best manager the game has ever seen.....It is those, who are looking to seize on every word as some form of 'insult' to Evertonians & it's truly pathetic & more than a tad sad imho.

I really don't care about Moyes tbh. I didn't think much of him when he was appointed in 2002 and I still don't see what all the fuss is about. The manner in which he bid for Baines was strange to say the least but it was to be expected. I would be more pissed off with the board if they baulk at his next bid as I'm sure he will.

Loving the negs.

Cannot for the life of me understand why some of you actually believe Moyes should be behaving apologetically for taking the United job and ingratiating himself with their fans.
He was out of contract.
He was going to leave regardless.
Should he have been unemployed for a few months and mourned the ending of his Everton chapter.

Martinez by all accounts is a Wigan legend. Don't see their fans acting so bitter.

Remarkable how the idea of the Everton manager getting summoned by the manager of another club is seen as just fine.

Even more remarkable is the tacit acceptance said manager has carte blanche to take any of our players.?
Particularly as Mark Hughes was effectively called a cnt over Lescott but I guess he wasn't a facilitator to Moyes ambitions.

Never mind eh!

In bold most blues disagree with that statement tea at SAF to just discuss what he thought was a player my ass! lets face it DM did well for the club & made sure he milked us for 67k per week and left us with no compensation it is all BK and the boards fault for letting DM rule the roost to be taken for nothing - you can look at Dave Whelan by example he is no soft fool like our Chairman!
